The beach 5 meters from the room has some of the best snorkeling we have ever tried. We even saw a sea turtle. Borja is extremely attentive and helpful, and will try to help you regardless of what you need. We stayed in both a deluxe room and later a bungalow. Both are amazing but the bungalow has a bit more privacy. It takes roughly 15 minutes by scooter to get to Gapang Beach where there are diving and freediving schools.

Situated within a few steps of Sumur Tiga Beach in Sabang, Casa Nemo Beach Resort & Spa offers accommodation with seating area. Casa Nemo is owned by an Acehnese woman who prioritizes cultivating beautiful experiences and running an ethical, eco-friendly business. The entire resort is beautifully manicured with fruit trees and flowers everywhere. Everything here is done with intention and love. The staff take great pride in their work. Aceh Heritage Village: Right when you walk in, you'll see two beautifully restored historic Acehnese houses featuring hand carved and painted decorations. This is totally unique on the island, and it's a must-see. Sometimes there are events there, so check with the resort to see about the schedule. The restaurant: The restaurant is stunning with an inviting porch that reveals the ocean and the lush landscape. The food is delightful with a mix of Indonesian and Western options. I am gluten free with a sensitive stomach. The restaurant always accommodates my dietary restrictions, and I always feel good after I eat there! If you will be staying awhile, you can even bring your own gluten free flour, and they will prepare something special for you. I love the ayam tangkap (an Acehnese specialty that you can't find many places on the island) and tom yum. The rooms: Every bungalow is done in the traditional Acehnese style with wooden carved decorations. My bungalow had a porch with a hammock which was the perfect place to relax while watching the ocean and listening to the sounds of nature. The bed was comfortable. The shower had hot water and it was easy to control the temperature, which cannot be said of many showers on the island. There was also a fridge and water dispenser in the room including hot water and china cups. The spa: I have had some of the best massages of my life at the spa here. My favorite is the Javanese. Masseuses are expertly trained and accommodating with any issues you may have. Friends of mine have had waxing done with excellent results. The beach: Great for lounging and a gentle swim.

Situated within less than 1 km of Iboih Beach in Sabang, Treetop Guesthouse and Bungalows features accommodation with seating area. This place is amazing. The hosts are unbelievable accomodating and kind. They made sure I'll my needs were met and gave great recommendations for food, snorkeling, diving, etc. They arranged a scooter upon arrival. The rooms are clean and newly furnished. AC works perfectly. Quiet location were lovely view. Also wonderful area to snorkel right in front of guesthouse. I saw so many fish, starfish, etc. Also I got ill in Ibioh and they helped me through the whole recovery. 😊😊😊 I would stay again!

HIMA bungalows was some of most luxurious accommodation at Sorake beach. With views of the wave and river frontage, you can walk straight out from the infinity pool to the foreshore and walk up to the wave. Perfect for couples, great bathroom. The host family are super hospitable.

Best place to stay in nias, Beda and his family are lovely, the food top notch, the location perfect in front of keyhole and surf viewing platform was epic to check the waves. Will be back yew

There wasn't anything to dislike. Friendly family owned, spacious room, air con, hot water, great food, on site shop and the best coffee in sumatra.

Nasara Resort Mentawai is located in Tuapejat and features a saltwater pool and sea views. This beachfront property offers access to a balcony, table tennis, and free WiFi. Everything anyone could have ever asked for. It was perfect for me especially the host and the staff. The beach was beautiful, service was good, staff was kind and friendly.

Offering sea views, Yuni Surf House in Lagudri offers accommodation, a private beach area, an open-air bath, a garden and barbecue facilities. Yuni was friendly, helpful and communicated well. He organised our shuttle transportation for 3 cars to transport our large group and all our surfboards. Great view from the deck where you can watch the point and see your own crew catching waves. AC rooms, easy, clean and tidy. Flush toilet. Great spot, and I would stay again.
