Boasting a balcony with sea views, a private beach area and a bar, KATHLEENS COTTAGE can be found in Quilty, close to Tromora West Bay Beach and 28 km from Cliffs of Moher. Location was perfect right on the beach and the local convenience store and pub were within 30 metres. The property was spotlessly clean and had everything required for a comfortable stay. Would have no hesitation in recommending to anyone

Offering a garden and garden view, Castledarcy Glamping is set in Lahinch, 13 km from Cliffs of Moher and 44 km from Dromoland Golf Course. Can't say anything bad about this place even if I could try, very accessible, in a great location, you're literally less than a KM outside Lahinch, so it's not busy (people walking around etc) the room was absolutely brilliant in an extremely nice location where you can overlook the land all round. There is a kitchenette in the pod, sink, microwave etc, no cooker. However, there is a main communal kitchen + living room right beside the pods that you have access to, to cook food etc. Donncha and Siobhan are your hosts. Extremely friendly and experienced of the local areas ( places to see, main tourist points etc), as stated before very friendly and helpful so 10/10 for that.

The host was very friendly, also had very good recommendations for restaurants. We really enjoyed the breakfast especially the freshly baked muffins! To put it in a nutshell - everything was perfect.

Offering a garden and garden view, Bay View House is set in Liscannor, 46 km from Dromoland Golf Course and 47 km from Dromoland Castle. Bayview House was my favourite accommodation in our 3 weeks holiday in the UK. I stayed there with my husband and adult daughter for 3 nights. It is the most beautiful cottage full of old world charm. A real Seaside cottage from the past maintained frozen in time. We were met by our Host Susanne who showed us around the home. She was extremely helpful. We arrived on a sunny day and she advised us to visit the Cliffs Of Moher that day before the weather turned. This was great advice as the rain and winds hit the next morning. The Cottage sits on the edge of Lahinch Bay with views across to Lahinch. Susannes' garden is gorgeous and well maintained. Adjacent to the house are the ruins of an old fisherman's hut. From the upstairs living area you can look across the water to some rocks where we saw Puffins with the binoculars supplied. It was a real treat. The views out of every window were gorgeous. It's a short walk in to town where we had dinner at the local pub which was delicious. The Cliffs Of Moher is a short drive. Of course they are spectacular!!

Offering a garden and inner courtyard view, Colmán House is set in Kilmihil, 39 km from Dromoland Golf Course and 39 km from Dromoland Castle. The room was visually stunning and extremely comfortable to stay in. The eye for detail with respect to the things guests need was perfect. Also, the view outside early morning was breath-taking. The location is very close to the center. Totally memorable experience!!

Quilty Holiday Cottages - Type B is set in Quilty, 27 km from Cliffs of Moher, 45 km from Dromoland Golf Course, and 45 km from Dromoland Castle. Property was a great base point for exploring the western side of the island. We had a spectacular view of the ocean from cottage 12. The kids especially loved the donkeys behind our cottage. We enjoyed all of the amenities and could have stayed longer, but time didn’t allow. The cottages themselves are basic, but perfectly adequate for our family of 6. It’s hard to find a place to sleep a large family, and this was a great set up for us. We would absolutely stay again.

Set in Quilty, Quilty Holiday Cottages - Type A provides a heated pool. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property and private parking is available on site. This is an amazing place with breathtaking views of the Spanish Point Beach and the bay. Besides that, the host is making sure that you have it as easy as possible when you arrive. Our keys were left in the door around the time we'd arrive so we could walk in straight away. The place is very nicely refurbished with great bathrooms and kitchen without losing its charme of a nice Irish cottage. The beds are very comfy. The wifi is very good and even when it was not working once, we contacted the owner and it was resolved within minutes. What a great place! We don't have children but for them there is a lot to do as there is an indoor swimming pool, playground, tennis court, donkeys, etc. We'll be back!
