Mark, was brilliant host, he , reached out straight away to welcome us and see if we needed the hot tub for our arrival. The Yellow door cottage was easy to find. Our stay was short as we stayed got a wedding held in the Redcastle Hotel, which is 5 minutes drive away. Mark very kindly drove us to the hotel, and also gave us taxi information for our return. We had the use of 2 bedrooms and our own bathroom upstairs, which was brilliant. The cottage was spotless and provided everything we needed. We had a continental style breakfast. With fresh coffee tea, which was lovely. Mark and Milissa, made us feel very welcome and made sure we were comfortable and ensure we had an enjoyable stay. Although we didn't use the hot tub, it looked like a lovely Cody area. There is also parking at the cottage.

The breakfast was delicious, the accommodations were outstanding. The view was gorgeous and the Hostess and staff were super friends and welcoming! Felt like family, the best part of the experience. It felt like we were home! The building and furnishings were so beautiful, we loved the artwork and historical Maps on the walls, they were very informative. The location was fantastic, super relaxing and a very short walk to a wonderful Pub. We visited the Bád Eddie shipwreck which was super close and very cool! Gorgeous Beach and surrounding area. Great location. The only thing we would do differently next time is to stay longer!

Our stay at Puffin Lodge was absolutely exceptional. The hosts were so kind, the rooms were very spacious, comfortable, and clean, and the location was outstanding. Puffin Lodge is situated steps from a private beach and around the corner from Fintra Beach and not too far from Donegal Town or attractions such as Slieve League. The optional continental-style breakfast was lovely as well! Highly reccomend Puffin Lodge, you will not regret it!
