The location is fantastic—just a short walk from the beach and the vibrant town center, making it easy to explore local shops and restaurants. We really appreciated the privacy that the layout of the guesthouse provides, allowing for a peaceful and relaxing stay. The courtyard is a lovely spot to unwind wirh secure parking. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing great recommendations for activities and dining. Overall, Japie's Yard is an excellent choice for anyone visiting Swakopmund.

This was by far one of our favorite stays while traveling in Africa. The hosts communicated nicely before we arrived, sharing the location and asking us what we were interested in doing while in town. They also gave amazing recommendations for close by food and drinks. The room and outdoor space was nice and spacious, thoughtfully decorated, and felt easy to relax in. The shower was perfect after a day of activities with good pressure and heat. It was a much needed feeling of home after traveling for so long. We came as strangers and left feeling like family! Another part was their recommendation to do a tour of Sandwich Harbor with the tour guide, Gideon. Hands down an amazing experience with fresh oysters, champagne, and good eats while in the middle of the Namib desert. After we expressed a desire to sandboard, he ensured we had an amazing spot and prepared boards for multiple awesome rides. Then we enjoyed a spectacular Braai with everyone and it is something I will remember forever.

Situated within 100 metres of North Beach and 2.7 km of Atlanta cinema in Swakopmund, LA CASETTA BED & BREAKFAST provides accommodation with seating area. La Casetta was very conveniently located to the center of town and just one street away from the beach. The rooms were basic, but had everything we needed, including a mini-fridge, a microwave, and an electric kettle. The rooms only came with hand soap but luckily we brought our own shampoo and body wash so it was not an issue. Hands down the best part of our stay was Buks, the owner. As two women travelers driving in Namibia, we asked his advice about safety, safe areas and dining locations. He even let us know about the local custom of tipping official parking attendants which we were unfamiliar with because it does not exist in the US. After leaving Swakopmund, we also inquired about the safest refueling stations on our drive to Otjiwarongo, which was very helpful.

This beachfront property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi.... Beautiful, clean, spacious house! The location was superb. The view from the balcony was great, you can actually see the jetty! Safe locality with various guest houses in the neighbourhood. However, the main road leading to the beach used to be literally empty in the late evening. Very near to the main market.

Mahdi Cottage, a property with barbecue facilities and a terrace, is located in Swakopmund, 100 metres from The Mole Beach, 400 metres from Palm Beach, as well as 800 metres from North Beach. Nice spacious apartment with secure parking! Good communication.
