Facing the seafront in Altagracia, La Sirenita - Ometepe has a garden and a bar. The property features mountain and lake views, and is 6.2 km from Maderas Volcano. Thé location was amazing, the water was calm, no wind like the other side of the island. The farm animals were a great perk . The owner and staff were so welcoming. The sunset with volcano views, near the entrance to the river for kayaking. Beside a happening bar. Mango beach is great too. The toilets and showers were very clean. A magical paradise. The hut was perfectly cute right on the water front.

Tapihouse San Juan Del Sur is an accommodation situated in San Juan del Sur, 300 metres from San Juan del Sur Beach and 3.8 km from Christ of the Mercy Nicaragua. We stayed one night, got an upgrade to a bigger room with AC, and really liked it. Breakfast is excellent and the owner is the nicest person ever!

Situated within a few steps of Popoyo Beach in Popoyo, Casa La Aventura Guasacate - Popoyo features accommodation with seating area. Lovely accomodation with the best shared kitchen of our trip so far. Staff were very friendly/helpful. Location is about a 30 min walk to the surf spot so would be worth considering a motorbike rental.

Very nice cabin, directly next to the water! good temperature due to the wind from the lake. Very Kind owner. There were good restaurants in the area and a cozy vibe. Even though it was a cabin with open window (no glass) we actually only saw a few small insects inside if any! It was clean and nice. Of course you come here for a different experience than a 5-star hotel, and that you get! We can really recommend it!!! It’s very special to stay here😃 Everything was as it should be and we would come again!

Featuring a garden and views of inner courtyard, Casitas Pacific is a recently renovated bed and breakfast located in Popoyo, a few steps from Popoyo Beach. It was amazing, all very kind and warm, the rooms were comfortable and with the necessary equipment! I would only recommend to add more food options to the menu and maybe include some desserts and other cocktails, asides from that all was amazing!

This place was perfect! The rooms were fun and clean, the facilities were helpful (fridge, outdoor shower, kitchenette), and the private upstairs patio with two hammocks was so relaxing. If you want to avoid the party hostels, this 4 room property is intimate, peaceful, and absolutely worth booking.

One of the most beautiful places I've stayed at. We originally booked for 4 days and ended up staying for 10! If you like rustic and wild this is the place. Most certainly the best place to stay in ometepe. The tree house style rooms are amazing, the location is away from tourist hot spots and you are surrounded by trees, beautiful flowers, birds and monkeys! Delfa and her family are delightful people to be amongst, made us feel right at home and her cooking...... well I'm missing it already! Thankyou finca la magia for such a beautiful time!!!

Set in Tola and only a few steps from Playa Colorado, Casa Mariposa offers accommodation with quiet street views, free WiFi and free private parking. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Casa Mariposa. Lovely, modern, clean, self-contained with a well-stocked functioning kitchen. Felt like an AirBnB back home. Great location close to the surf, short 10min walk on the flat to Colorado's and 10mins to the shop in the other direction. Fully equipped for surfers with board storage area and outdoor shower. Eddie who lives there was so friendly and helpful - even gave us some of his homegrown bananas! Cannot recommend this place enough, one of our most enjoyable stays in Nicaragua

Set 300 metres from Maderas Beach, NOSOTROS Playa Maderas - Surf House & Casitas offers accommodation with a balcony, as well as a garden. The Casita was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. We had everything we needed and the hosts and caretaker was always there to help. One morning our caretaker brought over some homemade kombucha! It was very relaxing, safe, welcoming and a great place for birding and seeing monkeys! We would definitely come back and stay again!
