The hosts were friendly and went over and above for our stay. They organised our tour to Uros, the floating islands and Taquile Island. They came with us to interpret as we only spoke english. The room was warm and very comfortable. The shower was warm and clean. We ate meals there at a very reasonable price. The food was very good. We met other guests from other countries and had an excellent time. We would highly recommend this property and thank the hosts for an excellent stay.

Oliver, Sebastiana and their children are a lovely family who you instantly feel at home with. The room we had was spacious, private and had a beautiful view of the lake. Hot water and WiFi worked amazingly for the area and the food provided (for an extra cost, but really good value), was very tasty and varied. There are a few walks to do in the area to keep you busy, and Oliver can also take you out on his boat to some of the local islands and to see the trout farm he runs (again, for an extra fee but for what you get, we thought it was really good value for money. You have to remember you have the boat completely to yourselves and there were no other tourists on the floating island we visited, making the experience very authentic). There's a really nice outdoor seating to enjoy the sun and view. Getting there is also very easy with collectivos going regularly from Puno and Juliaca for next to nothing. Com vista do lago, Quechua lodge Titicaca situa-se em Puno e possui um restaurante, uma cozinha partilhada, bar, jardim e terraço. Algumas unidades apresentam varanda e/ou pátio com vista da cidade. Gostei da experiência de dormir em uma ilha flutuante. O jantar na pousada me surpreendeu. Mesmo com tamanha precariedade nas ilhas. Eles fizeram uma truta deliciosa.

Alberto is a great host and make sure you have everything you need. Bed was very comfortable, and it’s quiet at night, great to rest.
