Furthermore, during our stay my brother had strong allergic reaction and we didn’t have a medicine for that. Despite the late time and celebration of Christmas, Filipe drove us to farmacy, helped us to find a medicine and drove us back to hotel. We will not forget such happiness and extremely recommend visit this hotel!

Offering a garden and sea view, ENTRE MUROS - Turismo Rural - Casa com jardim e acesso direto ao mar is set in Ribeira Grande, 14 km from Pico do Carvao and 24 km from Sete Cidades Lagoon. The property was extremely clean and inviting. A very comfortable space. The grounds are beautiful. Our hosts were so accommodating and responsive, always asking what we needed, and giving those thoughtful little touches that make your stay that much better. The fireplace was so nice in the evenings. Just a lovely place overall. We also liked that it was situated in the middle of the north coast of the island, so traveling to see things both east and west was easy.

Set in Ponta Delgada, 13 km from Pico do Carvao, Val 23 Loft offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Never met the hosts, and they always answered in portuguese (thank god for google translate), but they were transparent and quick to answer. The place in itself is perfect. Right in the center, walking distance to everything. Paid parking 5 min, free parking 10 min away.

Offering a rooftop pool and sea view, Olive Boutique Guesthouse is situated in Vila Franca do Campo, 400 metres from Praia do Corpo Santo and 9.3 km from Lagoa do Congro. This guesthouse is amazing. Never saw such a well maintenanced guesthouse and so clean. Up on arriv Al you get a delicious pastel de nata and also fresh water. The staff is so friendly and helpful and also very good cooks.

Set 12 km from Pico do Carvao, 24 km from Sete Cidades Lagoon and 25 km from Lagoa Verde, Colégio 86 offers accommodation situated in Ponta Delgada. We had a wonderful stay at Colegio 86! The apartment was beautiful, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The hosts were super friendly and super helpful. We had some last-minute changes in our travel plans and Joao went out of his way to help us get settled in easily. And they left a lovely welcome gift :)

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Senhora do Carmo Charm House is a recently renovated bed and breakfast set in Ponta Delgada, 1.2 km from Populo Beach. The location was perfect : close to the city center and highways by car, quite central to visit the island, easy for parking on the street. The place itself is so charming!! It invites you to relax the minute you put your feet on the grounds. It’s been renovated with taste and yet had kept a certain aspect of its history. The staffs were all very nice, friendly and helpful. Thank you Rafaela, Victoria, Maria and Lina, we had a wonderful moment in the Azores! And what to say about the breakfast!! So delicious and diversified!

Situated in Ponta Delgada and only 300 metres from Populo Beach, Cantinho do Pópulo features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. The apartment was spacious and pretty with a huge balcony and views. It would be the best for 2 people, but as a family 2+1 we fitted well too. The kitchen was well equipped and the host left some coffee, tea and delicious jam and honey for us to try. Our Host was extraordinary and made our Christmas even better by bringing some traditional portuguese donuts on Christmas Eve. We loved the stay and would truly recommend it for everyone staying in São Miguel! 🥰
