The property was clean and well maintained. It was in an ideal spot to explore the big island. We stayed in a room with a shared bathroom and it was never an issue! The host was great at communicating.

The property is absolutely wonderful. Nice, natural landscaping that let's you feel immersed in the Hawaiian rainforest. Feels very secluded and private, while also feeling safe and welcoming. Its walking distance to a black sand, clothing optional, beach. I will definitely book here again when visiting the Big Island. I would feel safe here as a solo traveler. Stephen greeted us when we arrived to the property and was so welcoming. I immediately felt at ease in his presence. He gave us a tour and showed us to our rooms, let us know how to reach him if we needed anything. Our smoke alarm was going off one night and he came right over, checked it out and swapped the battery, fixing the problem. I traveled with a friend and we each had separate rooms. The house feels more home like, relaxing front porch, solid wood furniture, and everything you'd need. Both rooms were clean and beds comfortable. At first, I thought my bed may be too soft, but I slept SO good and woke with no pains, feeling refreshed, so it must have been just right. Bath and beach towels were in our rooms, a bathrobe, a list of hosted and local activities we may be interested in, and a little bowl of snacks too. I also appreciated they had sunscreen and bug spray available.

Mychelle was such a friendly and accommodating host. Property was perfect for my stay. Clean, spacious and in a perfect location to do my trips around the Island. A great beach on the doorstep as well!

Honestly, we didn’t want to leave this place, it felt like home from the moment we arrived. The room is huge, with plenty of space and a cozy living area where you can truly relax. Everything was immaculate. The property is beautifully maintained, with a pool and a lovely terrace where you can enjoy a peaceful breakfast. We didn’t have much time to get to know the owners since they were out of town for most of our stay, but the few interactions we had were warm and friendly. The location is perfect. The property is in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood just 10–15 minutes from downtown Hilo. At first, we were unsure about not being right in the city center, but honestly, you wouldn’t want to be once you see this place. It offers the best of both worlds: tranquility and easy access to town.

We loved the warmth of this Family Run Motel and Cottages. The grounds were well maintained and the location right across from the beach and ocean was fabulous! Also the location for easy drives to shopping, restaurants and other sites was great! The beach here is beautiful enabling lengthy walks and swimming/sailboarding etc. Our room was comfortable and clean with a small fridge, coffee maker, hair dryer and bathroom shampoo, conditioner etc as well as shared use of a microwave right outside our door, Our porch was ground level enabling easy access to the grounds and quiet space. Great recommends for nearby restaurants and sight-seeing by the family were appreciated. Would loved to have stayed longer!

Hale Hualalai tem vista do mar, acesso Wi-Fi gratuito e estacionamento privado gratuito em Kailua-Kona, a 8,9 km de Parque Histórico Nacional Kaloko-Honokohau. Lots of animals. Good ecosystem and rich vegetation. Geckos are cute; cats, chickens, cows. One specific chicken would come up to the property and lay eggs on a particular spot. Eggs look healthy and huge :D Lots of fruit trees. Owners are good people with great hospitality and nice communications. Rooms are clean, spacious, with a nice patio. beds are sooo comfortable. (The combination of sheets, comforters and mattress is something my friend and I really liked.) Weather is pleasant, view is amazing. fruits and breakfast are delicious.

All 4 rooms have a terrific ocean view, a tropic forest behind a window, endless songs of Hawaiian birds in the evening and in the morning! The room was clean and nice, the lanai was beautiful, and the owners were very nice people. Breakfast was great, homemade food that the owners make for their guests every morning. Having your breakfast on the huge balcony on the second floor surrounded by tropical trees canopies with myriads of birds was amazing. Location was also convenient for us as we were exploring the entire island. There is a large supermarket in 15 min drive from the house.
