Top notch experience staying at Potami Seashell. I extended my stay from 4 days to 3 weeks. It was fabulous, right on the beautiful Ionian Sea, tucked inside the bay of Himare, quaint family owned hotel with a small, tasty restaurant, decorated effortlessly cool. Dimitra is incredible - helpful, funny, respectful and her experience with her own travel makes her an attuned and excellent host. Dimitra's mother, Vaso, and sister, Athena, prepare many of their dishes with fresh cheeses, vegetables and meats sourced from the families garden. It's the best location in Himare - to one direction you have a short walk along the seaside boardwalk into the center of town and in the other direction is a bluff, where you can hike to a kind of hidden and beautiful beach inside a canyon. This was exactly the experience I was looking for. A beautiful, cozy, affordable corner of the world to relax and feel at home. I went at the end of September and into early October. It's the end of tourist season, the weather was gorgeous, mostly sunny and warm and a few cool stormy days. The water temperature perfect and calm seas. Could it get any better? Dreaming of my return.

Exceptional views right on the beach! Super clean with a great balcony! Owner made our check in easy. She is so sweet and welcoming! It is perfectly located between the two beach towns of Himare. I am hoping to return next year and crossing fingers I can book again! Book if available!!!

This was my best stay out of the trip in Albania. the private rock beach really highlights the experience. it’s nothing like the main busy area, I am so glad we stayed here for some peace and quiet time. The water was amazing.

Everything was amazing. The apartment is just across the beach, and that is amazing. They cleaned the apartment almost every day, and on the third day we got new towels and linens. The beds were comfy, the neighbourhood was quiet and we got amazing sea view

We stayed there for one week, felt very welcomed and really liked our stay! The people running the hotel are really friendly and helpful. The room is clean and cozy. Also I loved the balcony with a great view over the ocean! The breakfast is in the restaurant across the street on a terrace right next to the sea. :)
