The view is incredible and the apartment was spacious with large balconies facing over the lake and across to the mountains. The owner and his wife welcomed us with drinks and advice and throughout our short stay treated us as old friends and not over night late bookers.

We had a wonderful stay at this traditional location in Carinthia. The room was lovely, breakfast in the garden was delightful, and evenings on the terrace were truly relaxing. The food was excellent, and we especially enjoyed Lake Feld am See and the nearby private beach. It’s a perfect place to feel peaceful and safe. Absolutely fantastic very special hotel situated right on the lake shore with breathtaking view, authentic design - you feel like you step into museum, amazing atmosphere, I would call it “boutique” hotel. Fortunately we got the same room where once the younger brother of the Austrian emperor Franz Joseph I stayed! Great staff, kind, friendly and helpful! Delicious breakfast offering even sparkling wine! We enjoyed sauna and steam bath following lake swim as well. Highly recommended!
