The family managing the hotel was amazing and highly accommodating! Best morning breakfast spread we had up till this stretch of our trip. Room is cozy and clean. Do ask for a fan/ventilator if it is a little too warm for your liking.

Incredible location in a historic house attached to a monastery wall, with views over the Danube River. Cozy bed in a room with a fantastic view, a well-equipped kitchen, and a really nice bathroom. Perfect location for trips in Wachau. Tip: if you need to walk with suitcases - Dürnstein Parkplatz P3 is the best solution (6 EUR/day).

    Perfect location for a city walk, the Old City starts just outside the outer door. The building itself is several hundred years old, with groin vault ceilings in rooms. If you like medieval climes, that's a place for you. And - a miracle! - there were several bags of real tea in the kitchen.
