We liked everything: the breakfast was excellent as well as dinner. We also enjoyed the soup and the salad buffet after coming from skiing. We love the detail of always having the same table for our meals and to be identified by family name, and not room number. It was also very useful to have a list of activities for the day.

This place is very nice: the view from the balcony is amazing - the lake and snow-capped mountains. It is very quiet, away from the main road, yet close to the beach - ca 8-10 mins walk. The lake is very nice, super clean and warm (+23C) in late June. There is enough parking for two large cars right by the house.

The Erlhof enjoys a scenic location on Lake Zell, a 2-minute walk from its private beach and a 10-minute drive from Zell am See’s centre. It offers a sauna, steam bath, and free Wi-Fi.

As I booked 2 days in a row ( 5-7 and then 7-9 August 2023) in 2 separate moments I have already sung high praise the Erlhof Landhotel und Restaurant after my first stay (booking.com should strive for better continuity in this respect). I can only add how hard it is to land back into ordinary service after an Erlhof stay.
