The location right on the beach is fantastic, rooms are clean, and we enjoyed the food and cocktails from the restaurant/bar. You can take surf lessons right in front of the hotel and we were able to book river tubing there as well. It has a big bit of beach front. It’s got the beach vibe from the surfers, it’s close to the bars, and it’s got pretty rooms. We had the closest room the the sea, with aircon- fantastic. Large and beautiful. Check you have aircon room! Palomino itself is a backpacker thing with more expensive hotels beginning.
