This place is a fantastic deal! Great rooms, great pool, a few feet from forest trails swarming with wildlife (monkeys, coatis, pecaris, tucans, even sloths). We really enjoyed the morning walks in the forest trails before breakfast. Nearby Dominical is super cute and less crowded than other places in the area, with a great beachfront. If you are planning to be in the area, you cannot go wrong with Hacienda Baru

This place is a true paradise! You’re surrounded by lush jungle, with monkeys playing in the trees, yet you get to enjoy a beautifully designed cabin with all the comforts you need. Even the WiFi was excellent for working remotely. The hosts were incredibly kind and thoughtful, paying attention to every detail and sharing great tips to make our stay even better. Getting there involves an off-road path that can be a bit steep at times, but the hosts' clear instructions made it easy to find this hidden gem. We would absolutely recommend it!

We had such a lovely stay at Camila’s beach house. Alex and her family are so welcoming and it was a pleasure staying in their house. The location is perfect - close to the beach, transport, and restaurants. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped to cook in and the room was super comfy. Beautiful family and beautiful place to stay. Highly recommend!

This was our 5th accommodation in Costa Rica and we saved the best till last. Everything was perfect. The host, Montse, was very helpful and welcoming, there were fresh flowers in the living room and in the shower/toilet room. The detached villa had high ceilings, beautiful hardwood floors and located a two minute walk from the beach. The shower was spacious and was the first shower to be completely reliable with excellent pressure and temperature control. The bed was huge and very comfortable. Air con was supplemented by ceiling fans. The hairdryer was excellent. The villa was conscientiously cleaned every day. There was an excellent provision of kitchen facilities including cooker, microwave and fridge freezer. The restaurant provided excellent breakfasts and dinners.

We had an incredible stay at Casa Coral! The house is exactly as shown in the pictures – modern, clean, and beautifully designed. The layout around the private pool gives a true luxury feeling and offers great privacy. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds super comfortable. Everything was spotless and very well maintained. The location is excellent – quiet, yet close enough to everything you need. The Wi-Fi was very fast. Free private parking directly on-site was also a big plus. We especially loved the outdoor area with the pool and terrace – perfect for relaxing during the day or having a drink in the evening. Check-in was easy and communication with the host was smooth and friendly. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and stylish place to stay. We would definitely come back!

The fantastic location adjacent to the beach meant that we could hear the sound of the waves as we fell asleep and as we awoke in the morning. The sunrise and sunset seen from the beach were very special. We had regular visits from a group of white faced capuchin monkeys, saw red macaws, frequent groups of pelicans flying low to the sea and a resident sloth. The staff are very friendly and helpful. This was a perfect end to 18 days in Costa Rica.
