This place is a fantastic deal! Great rooms, great pool, a few feet from forest trails swarming with wildlife (monkeys, coatis, pecaris, tucans, even sloths). We really enjoyed the morning walks in the forest trails before breakfast. Nearby Dominical is super cute and less crowded than other places in the area, with a great beachfront. If you are planning to be in the area, you cannot go wrong with Hacienda Baru

Best place during our trip to Costa Rica. We loved it so much, we didnt want to leave. The lodge in the jungle with the pool is amazing and Melissa and Said are absolutely lovely and welcoming.

Our stay at this hotel was nothing short of incredible. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the wildlife was truly special — we even had a sloth named Lola living in the tree next to our balcony! Toucans and other birds dropped by throughout the day. The infinity pool is another highlight, offering a peaceful retreat where we could relax and watch the stunning sunsets each evening. What truly made our experience exceptional, however, was George. From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us with warmth and made us feel at home. Throughout our stay, he was always available to provide local insights, offer recommendations, and ensure we had everything we needed. George was a constant source of knowledge and assistance on just about anything we asked about. He is truly the heartbeat of this hotel, and his hospitality made all the difference. We can’t thank him enough for making our stay even more memorable. We had such a lovely stay at Camila’s beach house. Alex and her family are so welcoming and it was a pleasure staying in their house. The location is perfect - close to the beach, transport, and restaurants. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped to cook in and the room was super comfy. Beautiful family and beautiful place to stay. Highly recommend!

Whether you’re looking to relax or catch some waves, it’s an ideal spot for surfing and enjoying the ocean.
