Beach Hotels in Hillerød

The host made a big effort to welcome us (Good Communication). We enjoyed our stay a lot. The place was clean and had everything we needed. The swim in the clear lake was amazing. Great walks around the area for leisure. Can highly recommend this place.

Incredible staff, very comfortable hotel, between the forest and the sea. Excellent to rest and forget the daily pressure. Annette, the owner and the host is very special in her to treat each guest. She made me feel I was a guest in her home. Would stay more and bring my family next time.

great place!! Extremely calm, and well equipped, we appreciate the coffee as a welcome gift :) You have to your disposition two rooms with one big bed for 2 people and a bunk bed for 2. There is also a separate "shed" with another room with a big bed (we have not tried this one). There is all you need in the kitchen. The garden is lovely, and there is a small glass house in which you can also chill. As we came in early May I was concerned about the temperature, but in the house, it was very warm. We really loved our experience, the place is just so relaxing and calm, and the interior is just lovely.

The accommodation is delightful. An annex of the hosts' home, it is located in a small, quiet residential street, about 400-500 metres from the beach and a well stocked little supermarket. The two good-sized bedrooms have very comfortable beds, wardrobe and drawer space. The sitting room/dining room is attractively and comfortably furnished and light, having windows on two sides. The hosts make it very clear in their description of the property that there is no kitchen but we did not find this a problem as the fridge was big enough to take our fruits, yogurt and milk for breakfast as well as salad stuffs and wine when we ate in. There's a good coffee maker and a kettle - coffee and tea were provided. The bathroom has two sinks and a shower/bath. Everything was spotlessly clean. Outside, in the pretty courtyard, there's a picnic table and a bbq for when the weather is good. Rikke and Jesper are wonderful hosts. We stayed during a period when England were playing in the Euros. Jesper kindly sorted out the TV programmes so that we could watch the games live. When we left, we'd been able to watch some Wimbledon, too. Netflix etc. were also available. Rikke made sure that we had everything we needed and provided excellent and extensive written information on the local area, places to visit, places to eat etc. She even gave us some delicious home-made sourdough buns for our breakfast on one day. We felt very valued guests and were sad to leave. We would highly recommend this accommodation.

If you are looking for a large apartment with lots of facilities, you'd better look further. But if you are in for an unforgettable experience, with a magnificent breakfast and hosted by one of Denmark's top singer-songwriters, this is the place to be. The hut is decorated as a true Swiss ski hut with many details, and has a large veranda which more or less takes the place of the living room. Of the many places we stayed during our holiday, we will remember this one best...

Beautiful setting. Room was very comfortable with a great view. Loved the breakfast. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The location is great. A mile's walk to the beach may not be super close but it only takes some 10 minutes

It was clean and quiet except as noted below. Staff was nice. View was very enjoyable.
