Excellent food - everything is made fresh from the ingerndients grown at the garden which you can actually go and pick your fresh prodduce from. I definitely had the best breakfast in Egypt over here, and I've been around Egypt. Everything down to the bread was made from the fresh produce. The location is gorgeous, a little island just before the beginning of the city before it gets busy with other buildings and structures - this makes you feel like you're actually somewhere remote and serene. The host, what an excellent mind and vibe, really makes you feel welcome and like home. The design of the rooms, the shared spaces, everything was well thought out and made with purpose.

The host was extremely warm and polite. Hospitality at its peak. Arrangement for various local trips (Aswan + Abu Simbel + Transfer to Luxor) were also taken care of by him at a decent price on short notice. Chatted with him on Egyptian culture, people etc which enriched the experience for us of the whole trip. Loved our stay.

The owner was the most hospitable person i met, i was even offered a refreshment drink (mango fresh juice). Everything was impeccable, the biew from the terrace was amazing. Best value for money

Owner and staff were very kind to us and our kids. Room was clean and it had a nice view on the Nile. Location was awesome, just a few steps from the ferry boat pier and minutes away from main attractions of the island.

The room was very clean and nicely decorated. We loved the view from the balcony, you can see Nile river and drink yoir Coffee there, it's breath taking. Easy and flexible check-in, there is also a welcome drink. The staff was very friendly and super helpful. The food was delicious and various. I highly recommend sgaying there!!

Peaceful accommodation by the Nile. Perfect setting, very nice staff, excellent advice and help with trip planning. Breakfast outdoors by the Nile is the best way to start the day. Elephantine Island was the highlight of our time in Egypt. We stayed for 4 nights but 7 would have been better.

Excellent stay lovely super clean guesthouse. Abouda is a lovely man extremely helpful and knowledgeable of Egypt. He can plan everything for you Abu Simbel, airport or train pick up, day trips, sunset boat trips, overnight boat trips, basically everything he even arranged a transfer for me to Marsa Alam Red Sea. Very warm welcome from the owner Ahmed and his family. He even came to pick us up at the ferry station to cross to Elephantine Island. Transport from the airport was arranged by the owner as well. He is a good person, very chilled and not pushy at all. The room is very clean, the bed is comfy and shower is hot. The location is perfect for Aswan - it is nice and quiet and both the room and rooftop have amazing views to the nile and the botanical garden. Would definitely recommend to stay in Elephantine Island opposed to the city center which is chaotic and noisy. The island has everything you need: relaxed ambience, easy and cheap transportation to the mainland, a couple tasty restaurants and you can spend a full day only in the island by visiting the Aswan museum, catching a felucca ride to the botanical garden and watching sunset from one of the beaches.
