A fantastic place to relax in Aswan. Very clear communication, lovely dinner and breakfast in truly magical environment. The hosts were extremely welcoming and give you lots of great advice for the area and Egypt in general. Highly recommend.

The best part was the host. Mohammed was a super nice host - very responsive and easy to communicate. I got there after midnight, and I even had to leave the hotel at 3.30am for a super early morning tour on the same day, but thankfully he arranged the airport pickup and the boat. For the 3.30am boat ride, he stayed awake until around 3.40am to make sure that I made the boat ride on time. And the view from the terrace was magnificent. It was such a pity that I didn't have enough time to enjoy the view while my stay at the hotel. The room was clean with basic furniture - bed, wardrobe, a small fridge, a bedside table and a private bathroom. The hotel is a minute away from the jetty, and right before the jetty, there is a little shop where you can get almost anything. In a nutshell, it was worth the money.

The attention, the service, and the kindness of everyone who works at this hotel (housekeeping staff, kitchen staff, and manager). The impeccable cleanliness of both the exterior areas and the room. In the room, there are trash cans with plastic bags, a glass with a bathroom kit, a refrigerator, additional coffee, tea, and water, and a balcony with beautiful views to watch the sunrise and sunset. Additionally, the hotel host offers an itinerary for affordable excursions to Abu Simbel, Luxor, and felucca rides, among others.

I've stayed in Nile View before, so the only surprises were new developments to the property. Nile View is a friendly, familial atmosphere (almost all of the staff are extended family) with nice, clean rooms and really an amazing view. It's an incredibly peaceful place to stay, yet only a short distance from the bustle of central Aswan. From the guesthouse you can see Kitchener Island, Qubbat al-Hawa, the Tombs of the Nobles, the Monastery of Anba Hedra, and the Mausoleum of the Agha Khan. There's lots of good bird-watching. The kitchen produces very nice food with fresh ingredients—most of them grown on the island itself. The staff are laid-back, friendly, and nice to talk with. The guesthouse owns a couple boats, and there's always someone around who can give you a lift to the west bank or—if you don't want to walk to the ferry—to one of the Aswan docks. (I haven't been asked for specific sums of money for using the boat, and occasionally a captain has been surprised that I offered money, but you really should expect to pay for this—it's not part of the included hotel service.)

Armed was a good host, he helped us a lot during our stays, He arranged our tours and got us a nice guide during our tour to Nubien village, Unfinished Obelisk, high dam and Philae Temple. Thank you armed for your great hospitality .

This is really nice location next to Nubian village. The houses, rooms and everything within the hotel area is so nicely painted. It is clean and the staff is very polite being there for you. The hotel has different locations where you can sit and enjoy your free time. We tried some delicious food and drinks in their restaurant. The breakfast was good with a beautiful view over the Nile river. Also, the night and morning walk around the hotel offers you some good options for shopping or just wandering around narrow streets full of life. Would absolutely come back.

I actually loved everything about our stay. First of all, Kafana is a wonderful host. He and his team really make you feel at home. We were lucky to be one of his first guests in a newly built room upstairs. Also, they offer great traditional food which we enjoyed daily for breakfast and dinner. The place is a little charming haven, away from the busy city on the shores of a Nubian village on Elephantine island, looking at the Nile and the sand dunes. It is the perfect spot to watch the sunset in the evening, watching feluccas and other boats passing by.

We loved the character and location of this gorgeous little family run guest house. Abouda and Ali and his team are amazing. They also organised the best excursions and experiences for us. Excellent breakfast. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else !
