The host was waiting in the street for us after dark, off season. They were wonderful. The location is just beautiful - the stairway to the beach leads to mid thigh clear water. The view from the deck is to die for. The view from the BED is to die for. The kitchen was well provisioned - with a bottle of fresh water waiting for you. The town is smaller with one easy to reach store by foot. The nearby Frankish Castle of Chlemoutsi is just wonderful - especially at sunset. This really was a perfect place to stay. We were there in November. The water was chilly but very swimable and the town was deserted - which we like.

Nikolas and his family were extremly kind! Warm welcoming with more we expected - fruits, wine, nice coffee, all goods you will need (e.g toothbrushes, slippers, etc) and spectial compliments from their farm during the whole stay. During our stay at this hotel, we were consistently impressed with the level of service and professionalism displayed by the entire staff. From the management team to the dedicated cleaning personnel, each member contributed to an atmosphere of excellence and hospitality. The location made total sense with the architecture of the property. Everything up to smallest detail was very well taken care of. Dexamenes is not the typical modern hotel, that tries to sell a more sustainable,local, environmental friendly approach, is an experience that will take you by the hand and let you enjoy what it has to offer. Every corner, each furniture, each plant has a potion which fits with the concept. The stuff is very familiar with their role, friendly and ready to assist you without unecessary efforts for „too much“ politeness. Finally, the food was tasty, qualitative with carefully selected ingredients, while keeping the minimal and simple character of the concept. My girlfriend and myself are quite happy visiting Dexamenes and we definitely recommend it.

We loved the fact that the hotel  felt like a hidden oasis, far from the crowds, but still close to everything we wanted to do. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Zakynthos!

Everything was amazing! The greatest villa in Zakynthos, with the best view, beach, terraces, sea in front of the villa and the amazing host - Chrystina. The villa has everything you need to have a great experience! Highly recommend 👌

The studio was fantastic: clean, new, spacious and quiet. High quality. The owner is a very helpful and kind person. Breakfast was great too: fresh products and a great variety. The studio is located in a quiet region very close the the beach and a good restaurant Κύμα by Kotsifas. A nice location for sunset dinners or a beach stay. Since the region is a bit remote, you really require a car here. We visited Olympia, Katakolo and did the Filoi trail (very demanding).
