Beach Hotels in Astris

Already when choosing a hotel in Limenaria on Thassos island, we liked the room with the gray panel in this hotel. We asked for it when booking and we got it. It is room number 204 on the first floor above the cafeteria. The owner owns the hotel on the first row of the beach with a pool and the hotel behind - Konstantinos Beach 2, which is older. The owner George and his wife live in the second building at the back. And to our delight, George is always available. In addition, he gave us a note at check-in with how to contact him, a password for free Wifi , etc... We communicated with him in English and he was always kind and responsive. As my family and I chose a holiday before the start of the summer season, we saw how George was setting up his beach area and how he increased the variety of each breakfast and added a coffee and juice machine. The breakfast consisted of several types of cheese and eggs, sausages, several types of cornflakes, of course olives and dried fruits, croissants, salads and fresh fruits and other specialties. We were also impressed that they thoroughly cleaned the room every day!! Unfortunately, the workers cleaning George's beach sanded the beautiful wild green bushes that were blooming with glassy flowers. Even in April and early May 2024 the weather was pleasant. The temperatures were not high, the wind was not strong and when you lay down on the sunbeds you feel the sun beating down and you get a tan. The owner, George, was kind and explained how to get to the nearest grocery store, which is a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel. It is recommended to buy drinking water from the store, which is at a nominal price. During our stay at the hotel I had a birthday and for this purpose we bought a cake from the best pastry shop in Limenaria - Blionis, which is located in the center of the promenade.

Very good location, right on the beach. They also have free sunbeds and for this time of the summer it was pretty free. We also liked the terase becase it doesnt take space from the beach side, the pool and of course all the staff. Very nice, relaxed and worm people. They made us feel like home guests.

Very nice stay, the people are very helpful and nice! The villa is spacious and cozy. You have everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Beautiful location, nice pools and large, comfortable rooms. The food at the buffet is very good and only high quality products- especially the deserts! Really good facilities and personnel.

We liked the location, Wi-Fi was excelent even on the beach, big smart TV, everyday cleaning and the host miss Ria outcome our expectations. Elevator is the plus, when you carrying big luggage. The accommodation has its own sunbeds in front on the beach that is also big plus. The parking is on the main road far away from accommodation but for us didn't make any trouble, max 5 min walk.

We had a wonderful stay at the apartment in Skidia Beach. The property is located close to quiet, little-visited beaches, where you can enjoy peaceful swims away from the crowds. The rooms were spotlessly clean, cozy, and tidied every day. Just a few steps away were paths leading down to the beach – perfect for a refreshing morning swim right after waking up. The beautiful and peaceful surroundings made it so easy to relax. When we got hungry, we enjoyed delicious meals at the local taverna, run by three incredible ladies full of energy and good humor. They are truly the heart of this place – taking care of guests with genuine warmth and attention. We highly recommend the fish, moussaka, and of course my personal favorite – fried zucchini! If you’re looking for tranquility, stunning beaches, and wonderful people – this is the place for you. We will definitely be coming back! Magdalena & Michael
