I recently spent a week at Spongia Hotel and Suites in Myrties, Kalymnos, and it was nothing short of amazing. The hotel's location is perfect, offering breathtaking views of Telendos island just across the water. My suite was spacious and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed and a large balcony perfect for morning coffee. However, I spent most of my time by the pool, lounging on the comfortable sun beds and soaking in the incredible views. The sunsets here are spectacular. Whether from the pool or the restaurant, watching the sun dip behind Telendos island was a nightly highlight. Speaking of the restaurant, the food was delicious, especially the fresh seafood. While I'm not a climber, I met many guests who were there for Kalymnos' famous climbing routes. The hotel's location is ideal for both relaxation and adventure. What really made my stay special was the warm hospitality. The staff were always friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. If you're looking for comfort, stunning views, and authentic Greek island charm, Spongia Hotel and Suites is the place to be. I'm already planning my return visit!

Very nice and spacious room, with a a large and fully renovated bathroom. Beds were very comfy. Very clean, with fresh towels daily. Staff was kind and helpful.

Amazing little room right across from the ferry docks. We received detailed instructions of the self check in process the night before in the form of photos and a video that were so helpful and made the process seamless. The host also came to check that we got in ok. The room is small but so well equipped and perfect for our stop over in Pothia. The bed was super comfy and very big. The fridge had a cold bottle of water each in it. There was a coffee machine and a kettle with tea, coffee and pods provided and biscuits!! The bathroom also had shampoo, conditioner and soap. We will definitely be staying again.

This is a very good apartment next to the ferry terminal. The location is quiet and the large windows give lovely views across the harbour. Eirini is a great host and shared a lot about the history of the building and life in Kalymnos. It was easy and quick to contact her by WhatsApp. The apartment is very large and a real home from home. The place was exceptionally clean and was probably the best equipped place we have stayed in - everything from clothes washing liquid to first aid kit! We hired a car and a large free car park was a minute walk away.

The house is fantastic, spacious, well-equiped and with outdoor spaces overlooking the bay. Fantastic breakfasts and evenings watching sunrise/sunset over the sea. It's just a short walk to some restaurants, the minimarket and the beach. It's very conveniently located for climbing (walking distance to some sectors and a midpoint for other sectors you might want to go by scooter). The free transfer on arrival is very convenient and appreciated. Bedsheets were changed for fresh ones during our stay and the host was very responsive to any requests (when the strong winds broke the zipties that held the terrace tarp, he came within the hour to replace them, wish landlords back home were this efficient!). He was always easy to reach by Whatsapp and helped with everything he could.

Every detail in the villa was very good, the view, the attention of the host, the cleanliness of the rooms, everything was very good. I felt like I came to my grandfather's summer house. It was great to swim in the perfect sea right in front of the villa, take a shower in the garden, and chill on the terrace. Best restaurants, supermarket are walking distance.
