Lovely apartment with great views across the harbour. Sami is a perfect location for accessing the rest of the island. There are several good restaurants - we can recommend Tereza, Deco and Il Familia in particular. We are hikers and the island has lots of trails with fantastic views over hills, valleys and the sea; an abundance of wildflower meadows was a major bonus. Try the small maritime museum just outside Sami : the owner has built a fantastic collection of replica boats of the past 3000 years.

The hosts were very friendly. We got the unit right on the beach and thoroughly enjoyed walking along the beach. The kitchen was well outfitted. Sami was a great location to use for our exploration of Kefalonia.

Perfect location in the middle of the island, everything is close. Great apartment, all clean, well equipped, comfy beds, very quiet air conditioning, daily cleaning service. the rooms are very beautiful and designed with a cross of what looks like french /italian taste. the terrace and view from the room gives you a beach sea view even from the bed breakfast was served in the room , terrace and was excellent
