It's in a quiet area of the island and not much infrastructure (had to order taxis to get to and from ferry) but we found a great cafe/bar on the beach down the road. The Beach House Apartments are run very professionally but in a totally relaxed and laid back atmosphere. Great cocktails made by Kiki, hence my husband’s bar bill 😆. Proximity to beach directly outside. There is a drinks/snack service to beach beds. An added bonus is that a couple of times a week Aris, a virtuoso guitar player, and Lizzy, an accomplished singer, entertain guests with memorable music. The sea is perfect for swimming and chilling in the water. The beach sometimes was crowded but all the people - locals and turists, were calm and nice. The apartment has everything you need. We specially liked the outside sitting area. There are 4 nice tavernas in the neighbourhood. The apartment is right on the beach and is clean and charming with bright harmonious artwork. Lizzy and Cathy were lovely hosts. Falling asleep listening to the waves was perfection. It has everything we needed for a 9 day stay. We loved the little cafe and beach spot out front too.
