It's of the grid, but that alone is already enough reason to go there. Amazing lowners, staff and surroundings. Do the tubbing, chance of seeing the kingfisher. We would recommend to stay at least three nights.

I love this place. Cool vibes and nature gets together over there. I love the bar and the staff. There is no open kitchen but they helped us out to set barbecue and they also provide food. The rooms has a rusty feeling but its better cause everything is in harmony with nature in this place. No noise so you can enjoy the sound of birds.

    Private room had an amazing sunset view with hammock. The room itself was okay - standard for Central America. Also liked being able to swim in the lake right next to the restaurant- so refreshing! The pita platter was filling and tasty in the restaurant. The semuc champey tour was so fun!

    We loved our stay here. The property is breathtaking and the location is perfect. The staff were so friendly and the food was delicious. We are family style every night and made some lovely friends here. We are a couple but it would also be such a good spot for a solo traveller too. There is also a little beach onto the river at the hostel where you can have a chill day relaxing. We only had three nights here but we wish we had more.

    Location on the river is superb - so beautiful and tranquil. The vibe of the whole place is wonderful - open, green, lots of flowers and a beach vibe. The on-site restaurant is quite good (the French toast is highly recommended!) and they have a great happy hour
