This is definitely one of the best apartments I’ve lived in traveling over Europe. Hence, the perfect 10/10 score which I reserve only for the very best apartments which have everything perfect including a stunning location and view. Nela is one of the best hosts I’ve come across in all my years of travel. She’s very hands on, friendly and super involved with everything. The apartment has the most stunning view of Hvar Old Town and President’s Beach. You could just sit in the balcony for hours and enjoy the view, the peace and calm. The apartment is spotless, perfectly clean and detailed very well. It’s decorated with high quality items and adequately equipped with towels, utensils, cooking supplies etc. There’s also a washing machine downstairs that you can use. The location is on a hill with free parking. You can easily use the steps to go down to the beach, supermarket, restaurant etc. I believe you can get to Hvar Town center via the steps as well. We didn’t end up doing that since we had a toddler in a stroller and just chose to drive to the town center and get a day pass for parking. Nela also offers to pickup guests from Hvar town if they don’t have a car and have bags etc. and coming via a catamaran (not the car ferry). If I ever go back to Hvar, I will definitely stay at Top View Residence. Also, for any Americans traveling to Hvar, Nela speaks English well and has traveled all over the US so she’s the perfect host for you, especially if you’re visiting with kids. 10/10
