EVERYTHING! We stayed at the Martello during our week long vacation in Ireland & we could not have been happier. The room was modern but we felt like we were actually IN Ireland. The restaurant/bar was amazing (both food & beverages) and the staff were BEYOND astonishing! No hyperbole, staying at the Martello was the best lodging experience we've ever had, whether in the States or abroad.

Located in Bray, a few steps from Bray Beach, The Strand Hotel, the former residence of Oscar Wilde has accommodations with a shared lounge, private parking, a terrace and a bar.

We loved the history of it - being Oscar Wildes home. We were in The Happy Prince room and it was so quaint. Very comfortable and clean. The location was excellent with reference to Dublin and with it being seaside.

Around 20 minutes’ drive from Dublin, Claremont House provides accommodations in Glenageary, 3 minutes’ walk from the train station. Each room has either en suite or private bathroom facilities.

It was an idyllic place to explore coastal Dublin. And staff recommended many local treasures from swimming at the Forty Foot and other swim spots to restaurants, pubs and shoos. The hotel bikes are great.

Mulgrave Lodge is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in Dun Laoghaire where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge.

Cormac went beyond the call of duty by offering to drive over an hour to deliver to us a set of keys, when we thought we'd lost ours. Location close walk to many restaurants, 30 minute drive to several fantastic gardens on the east coast. We especially liked the outdoor patio with comfortable furniture!
