Mountain View is about a 12-15 minute walk from the Center of Donegal. The grounds are beautiful and the locale is extremely quiet. The host was very helpful, making suggestions of where we might like to go and do. We basically parked our car and ambled to many of the recommended sights.

The 4-star Sandhouse Hotel overlooks the sandy Blue Flag Rossnowlagh Beach on Donegal Bay. It has a luxury spa, hot tub, an award-winning restaurant and free parking.

The views from our room and the common area were stunning!! We walked down the path to the water’s edge and were able to get some beautiful pictures. The owner,Tina, couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating. The house and our room were immaculate and all updated. We would definitely stay there again!

The self-contained apartment was lovely and had everything you needed. Brendan, the host, was attentive and welcoming. There was fresh milk, bread, and butter supplied, which was unexpected. We definitely enjoyed our stay.

We have just returned from a family trip to John the mills cottage and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owners were friendly and welcoming. The property upon arrival was clean, warm and ample size. It also had all amenities that you could need for a getaway, dishwasher, fridge freezer, washing machine, ironing board, some toiletries in the bathroom and robe and slippers for the hot tub etc. The beds were super comfortable too. The cottage also has sky, Netflix, Disney etc.
