We greatly enjoyed our stay at this charming colonial-style guesthouse. The suites were spacious, with separate living and kitchen areas, vanity room provided for dressing, and a peaceful courtyard area where we enjoyed a few lovely breakfasts. The guesthouse’s great location also allowed us to explore the shops and sights of Fort Kochi on foot. Special mention goes to Naresh, the owner, who is an incredibly kind and compassionate man, even allowing us to stay in a vacant suite for a few hours after check-out when my partner fell ill. His understanding and willingness to accommodate really touched us and made a difference to our trip.

Every once in a while you come across places which have something magical in it while it's hard to put your finger on it exactly? Right? La Lune and Fort Kochi combination was exactly this. La Lune is a place to experience utmost warmth, hospitality in a beautifully decorated homestay located right next to Qissa cafe and 100 m from the main Fort Kochi walking district. We had one of our best stays ever + tons of fun. As a seasoned traveller I can count on one hand fingers places I've had such a "emotional battery charging" turnaround stay. We came as highly stressed couple direct from 3-week non-stop intensive work bout and couple of days later left with good memories and smile on our face.

Everything. The location was ideal for exploring Fort Kochi, we were a short walk or tuk tuk ride from nearly Everything. Saj was so helpful, gave us a map with all the sights and recommended restaurants (including newly opened Paragon which was amazing) and arranged for us to do a cooking class with Maria (highly recommend, it was fantastic) The rooms were comfortable, spacious and the bathroom was lovely (first hot shower we had in India!) The breakfast was also great - there is the option for a traditional Kerala breakfast or continental. The traditional breakfast changed every day and was an amazing way to taste the local cuisine. Can't believe how cheap it is for the service you get, it's amazing value for money.
