I liked everything, especially: - The beautiful setting, with views over the ocean (it really is in front, which is not the case of many properties even in Kovalam) and palm trees; I could hear the waves from my bed, as well as all the birds singing (I made many recordings) - The location, less than 30mn from Trivandrum airport - All the restaurants nearby (I recommend “the Lobster Pot” literally next door) and the other facilities not far (e.g. currency exchange less than 15mn away) - The advance communication with Mr Sachin (so reassuring when travelling) and the professionalism of Mr Dibhyajith on site (who made everything so easy, starting in with check-in – I could pay by card, which is not always the case in India) - My bedroom (201) with a very big bathroom, powerful air conditioning (which I only turned on for 5mn every time the room was getting a bit too hot), very good wifi signal and breathtaking views.

Just a short walk to the beach, we could hear the gentle waves and enjoy stunning sunsets every day. The convenience of being so close to the sea made our trip incredibly relaxing and scenic. Food? Simply the best we've ever had. Every meal was a feast – homemade, flavorful, and prepared with so much love and care. From traditional Kerala dishes to fresh seafood, every bite was memorable. Clean place, breathable, many activities possible and great suggestions from the manager. We never felt like paying too much, we had such a great time that we extended our stay, because we felt very secured. The location is PERFECT, just a few minutes walk from Varkala beach, and it's quiet and cosy (love the hammock!).

Everything! Staff were lovely as soon as we arrived. Our room wasn’t ready so we were upgraded to a sea view room for the first night. We were dreading moving to our other room then but it turned out to be even better. It was tucked away on a quiet street behind the promenade. Literally a 2 minute walk from the front door to the beach and all the restaurants. It was spotless! Our bathroom was brand new and we had hot water in the shower (which is a luxury in India) The ends we’re so comfortable but pillows were a bit hard. It felt like having an apartment, there was so much room. We had a lovely balcony with a fan. Indoors we had air con and a fan, plus toiletries. We just loved the staff here. They were so hard working and always smiling when we seen them (especially Kumar) Couldn’t fault it. If we were returning tomorrow we’d stay in the exact same place.

Everything was great. Location is superb, it can hardly be better. Wilfred is great and very friendly and extremely helpful. He helped us book taxi to Munroe Island and that was excellent as well. Very clean room and defenitly good price. Travelling is me and my two teenaged kids.
