I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Villa Paradiso in Meina, Lago Maggiore, and I can't say enough good things about this charming hotel. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warm hospitality that set the tone for entire stay. The location is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of Lago Maggiore. Waking up to the serene beauty of the lake each morning was an experience like no other. The hotel's grounds are beautifully maintained, with lush gardens and a lovely pool area. Room was comfortable, clean, and tastefully decorated, reflecting the elegance of the entire property. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Another highlights of the stay was the hotel's restaurant. The food was exquisite. Dining with a view of the lake was an added bonus that made each meal special. The staff at Hotel Villa Paradiso truly made the stay memorable. They were attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist with any request we had. Overall, the stay at Hotel Villa Paradiso was nothing short of perfect. It's a little slice of paradise on Lago Maggiore, and I can't wait to return. The property was immaculate and Gio was extremely organised with both the instructions and inside the property. There was a lovely gift basket inside and coffee etc. It was a shame that we arrived so late as the location was also beautiful and I’m sure that we could have enjoyed spending more time in the area.

The International Camping of Ispra is just 50 metres from the shores of Lake Maggiore. It offers free parking, and independent bungalows with patio and kitchenette.

Great place to stay on the lake weekend. Gorgeous bad and pillows, super bathroom with bide, I admire wooden floors everywhere, even in the bathroom. Also we had great balcony view on the Maggiore lake. The was some reviews mention that there’s no parking. Can admit it’s not true. The parking is right outside but it’s public and you should pay for it. And it’s absolutely free for the night from 8 pm to 8 am. So I found it very comfortable, because we had the journeys during the day, so had to pay just for the morning hours to have some sleep.

It was very clean when we arrived..Check in was very simple. Campsite is lovely. Staff were very helpful. The site suited us very well. Especially the welcome for our dog and the dog beach!! He was swimming with us in the lake each day. We hired a boat from the campsite one day which was brilliant. Aquaparc was great and good price. Amazing huge pizza slices in the restaurant. Excellent coffee. Free bed linen and towels
