I fell in love with Pensione America the moment I stepped into the garden — it feels like a hidden paradise. The pool, nestled among tall pines, is just beautiful, and there’s a quiet magic in every detail. It’s part of a small, family-run collection, and you can sense the soul behind it — nothing feels generic or like a typical hotel. The rattan furniture, vibrant Sicilian ceramics, striking modern artwork and hand-painted wallpapers all reflect a careful, personal eye. Everything feels considered, full of charm and character. I can’t wait to return.

We had one more day in Tuscany, decided to visit Forte dei Marni, have Dinner there, booked the Hotel with not too many expectations, is a little outfoxed Forte dei Marni. The Moment we arrived, we were met with the lovely Roberta and her staff, who made our stay wonderful. The Place is perfect to relax, wonderful pool area, beautiful rooms,all areas in warm tones and the staff, professional and so friendly. We got the shuttle service anytime we wanted to go to town, and pick up too. We will for sure come back.

We initially booked this hotel for just one night, but everything was so perfect that we ended up extending our stay for a second night – and it was absolutely the right decision. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the kind and helpful gentleman at the reception. Since it was not high season, he kindly upgraded us to a bigger room, which made our stay even more comfortable. His hospitality made us feel instantly at home. Our room was clean, spacious, and beautifully maintained thanks to the excellent cleaning service – everything was spotless. The breakfast was truly delightful – fresh, delicious, and with plenty of variety to choose from. A perfect start to the day! The location is also fantastic – just a short walk from the beach, which added a relaxing touch to our stay. Whether you’re looking to unwind by the sea or explore the area, this place offers both comfort and convenience. Overall, our stay was exceptional. We highly recommend this hotel and would gladly return in the future.

This is a fabulous hotel. The grounds are simply stunning, the staff are exceptional and all of the food and wine we had was absolutely delicious.

You will be in the middle of pine woods in Forte dei Marmi at this 5-star hotel, offering luxury treatment, a relaxed atmosphere, and a new exclusive private beach "Remo Beach Club".

Everything was perfect, wonderful friendly staff to welcome us, great ambiance. Probably the best hotel we have stayed in.

Hotel La Pigna is a welcoming establishment situated close to the beach in the enchanting centre of Marina di Pietrasanta, surrounded by a typical cool pinewood on the Versilian coast.

Very clean, spacious hotel with polite and helpful staff. It'c close to the beach. Pisa and Cinque Terre can be easily reached from the hotel by car. We enjoyed our holiday here. Dinners were very delicious.

Hotel Villa Maremonti is located on the beautiful Versilian Riviera, just a few metres from the sea.

Next to the beach and connected to restaurants/bars on the beach, so you don’t need to walk far away! Great host team, they were very helpful. You should have a car as it is easier to explore around. The dinners, fish and wine exceptionally good. If you can stay and eat at the hotel, it is better than in the nearby restaurants plus you do not need to wait too long for the service.

My 8/10 rating is based on the price/quality ratio. Don't expect the standard of German hotels, but more like a summer camp for scouts. This place is for people on a budget, but the staff was above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Especially people working in the kitchen and front desk. I wouldn't mind staying there again for a night or two.
