The B&B, Rivalago is located on the waterfront and a moderate distance from the ferry embarcadero which I only used to arrive and depart. My room was spacious and comfortable with excellent cleaning service and a fabulous view of the lake. The B&B is in a quiet location and a short walk to the restaurants along the embarcadero. I chose Cannobio because it was considerded the prettiest town on the lake although not the most convenient for seeing gardens and palazzi. Those were easily reached by regular bus service, or boat. Gaia was very helpful in determining my connections and printing schedules for me. Commuting to the gardens was a breeze! The breakfast was fresh and varied, with more selection than I would ever have at home, which was a real treat! Both Matteo and Gaia were always available to answer questions and assist with whatever I needed. Matteo even found the program I wanted on Netflix and set it to English for me. Thank you both for making my stay so special.

Staying at Villa Poseidon is truly a wonderful experience. The house is very modern and equipped with the latest technology, including a retractable awning, automatic shutters, and a hot tub. It is spacious and has an incredible lake view with a private beach to boot. I highly recommend the home. Porto Valtravaglia, the nearby town, is a quaint sleepy town with incredibly friendly people. It is a small town, yet it has access to ferries during tourist season.
