We walked i easily into the old town ( 10 mins) and down to the beach (10 mins) Quiet location despite main road outside- but were we there in low season (April). There was free parking on road outside, but this would not have been free from 1 May. There are a few bars and restaurants right on the beach, a little but well-stocked grocery shop just a few steps away.
