The pictures don’t do the property any justice. My room had the perfect view for the purple hues of the sunset. The food, room, location was perfect. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and he was very inviting. I felt like I was at a family home instead of a hotel….the intimacy of the hotel was peaceful.

Beautiful house, spacious room and very attentive staff. I was taken care of very well. Chui helped us plan our activities very well. The tours and boat trips were fun and organized.

I recently stayed at Beytul Habaib in Lamu and had amazing experience. The staff especially David was friendly and helpful and a nice Chef as well . The spacious apartments offered lovely views and was perfect for my family. However, the location is a bit far from the town center but we had a good arrangement of transport by motorcycle. The property combines modern and traditional Swahili decor nicely, very Clean and well maintained. Overall, it's a peaceful place and I strongly recommend my friends specially with family to consider Beytul Habaib while visiting Lamu

Quiet and peaceful despite fronting the ocean. Most seafront hotels here would hear noises of motor boats but Peponi is different. Two very lovely dogs hanging around which add charm to the hotel. Staff are mostly well trained. I also love the trees and appreciate that the hotel keeps big trees. Restaurant’s food is so delicious especially thh desserts.
