I was here only for two nights, and the full day I spent here it was raining. But the place is nice to just chill and appreciate the time passing by. Also I talked with the owner and he gave me a lot of recommendations for the area and we could also talk about various subjects concerning Korean history. He also helped me to plan the rest of my trip. The place was very clean and I spent two wonderful nights, leaving rested and full of knowledge. Thanks again for the warm welcome, and I can only recommend the place for any types of stay !

The staff were very friendly and ordered a taxi to take us around for three hours. We didn’t mind forgoing the govt subsidy as we wanted to be picked up and dropped off at the hotel. We also liked the two convenience stores, esp the one on the lobby floor. The cafe was very gd too- Twosome Place. There were amazing seafood restaurants next to the hotel that were open for dinner on a Wed night during winter. Unforgettable snow crab n jumbo shrimps with sashimi and tempura. The beach is just opposite the hotel and you can see it from ocean view rooms.

1.7 km from Sunpo Beach, Eungabi Pension is a recently renovated property located in Gangneung and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking.

We stopped for a night in Gangneung to then take a train to visit the Sangwonsa Temple. The nice part of the city is the coast line, in particular Coffee Street if you are a coffee lover, where you can find lots of very nice coffee places. The hotel is nice and has a nice breakfast room, furnished with lot of bookshelves around you, and with very good quality food. The staff is superfriendly and helpful.

Hotel Tops 10 is just a 3-minute drive from Geumjin Beach and under a 40-minute drive from Gangneung KTX Station. Free WiFi access is available at the hotel.
