Beach Hotels in Ahangama

Hashan and the rest of the staff couldn’t be any nicer. The rooms are super spacious and clean. And the location is excellent. Between Ahangama and Midigama. Hashan helped us choose fish for really good price right in front of the hotel and they cooked it for us with a nice salad. It has a nice relaxed beach just in front. Don’t forget to go up to the rooftop, it has amazing views of the sunsets

Exceptional hospitality. The staff will go beyond any limits to provide utmost comfort. You are always greeted with a smile. They helped us with the best Srilankan delicacies, a private snorkeling experience, a bike rental to visit Galle and a lot more!

Amazing place with very good and helpful staff. The rooms are big and clean. There is a restaurant and cafe with live music and its so fun! Im sure that I will come back :)

My wife and I really LOVED staying here for 7 days. If you’re going to write a great or bad review, I believe you must include text as to why. First, the SERVICE: I could write pages about the wonderful hospitality we’ve been shown here. This family is extremely generous and goes the extra mile to make your stay pleasant with their outstanding service. For starters, they give you a welcome juice upon your arrival. They have a store on the ground floor where we bought fresh fruit and other food stuffs, all at normal (or below!) prices, so why go anywhere else? If you buy fruit from them (pineapple, papaya, etc), they cut it up for you and bring it to your room on a tray. Very thoughtful!! They do laundry for an extremely reasonable SLR400 per kilo and it was delivered in 24 hours. Freddy will organize travel for you, too. For us, it was a day trip to Udawalawe NP and he gives you one price (very fair, we verfied!) for R/T transport to the park (nice car on easy toll road), park entrance fees, a Jeep driver/entrance fee and a visit to the Elephant Transit Home. This way, you don’t just get dropped at the park entrance and have to run around and coordinate the various activities/payments. All we spent additional money on were the tips for the 2 drivers and lunch. Freddy even saw us off for a 0400 departure! Next, the ROOM: Freddy, an honest and honorable man and his adorable wife, also provide very clean rooms with excellent AC and a ceiling fan. They have thoughtful drying racks and flat surfaces and plenty of electrical outlets. Great (hot) water pressure in the bathroom, too! There is a group fridge in the hallway if needed. The top floor has a great view of the ocean and a table for eating (we didn’t use this). We also didn’t take advantage of the drinks and food they have on their menu that they will prepare for you. The LOCATION: It’s a short walk from the train station and bus stops. There’s a tuk tuk stand across the street, too.

Amazing location! Very good amenities.. Pool was the best.. very accommodating staff.. Priya was really helpful in anything we ask for.. on the whole highly recommend the villa stay..

The hotel is very well located, few steps from Kabalana beach and close to many surfing spots. The family room is big, the mattress is good and the view is beautiful. The breakfast is delicious and the staff is very gentil and supportive. We highly recommend it! We would go again! 👏

From the start to end i loved everything about our stay in this hotel. The location was perfect with sea view rooms and beachfront access. The room was super spacious and washroom had a beautiful view. The food was amazing. The staffs goes above and beyond to make the stay comfortable. The owner is a female which i would say is the best part as you can see everything is very well managed. I would highly recommend this place.

Such a beautiful place , very good amenities pool rooms outdoor shower and loved the yogurt and fruits in the morning. Stuff is very friendly and helpful Really loved our stay
