We had an absolutely amazing stay at Whisky Point Resort, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!! A special shoutout to Mufaris and Murthala for their outstanding and precise service—they went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. The highlight of our stay was the incredible food and drinks. The iced tea was the best we’ve ever tasted, and the pizza was absolutely divine! Every bite and sip transported us to a place of pure bliss. Whisky Point Resort truly feels like a little paradise nestled within an already paradise-like island. The serene ambiance, combined with the warmth and hospitality of the staff, makes this a must-visit destination. Thank you for such an unforgettable experience. We’ll be back for sure!

The location was great. If you don't want to stay in crowded Arugambay this is the right place for you. You have your own pirvate beach, a little cabana, good food at the restaurant and it is the cleanest hotel we have been in Sri Lanka.

Everything was perfect, and as always, everything started and ended with the people. Catherine and Michel are amazing people, with a huge heart and a big smile. Always ready to help, with good advice and help with the surfboards, renting a bike, renting a tuk-tuk or any other matter that makes an ordinary vacation so amazing. Another thing, the hotel staff, smiling, polite and kind. It is clear that the place is so important to them as if it were their own home. The place is meticulously cared for down to the smallest detail and this, in my experience, is extremely rare in Sri Lanka. The cabins are cozy, air-conditioned and ventilated. The beds are extremely comfortable, the showers are spacious and partially exposed to the sky and the coconut halves scattered around. Hot water 24/7 is simply magic. The pool is simply amazing, pleasant and clean at all times, spotless. The location - on the pottuvil Point strip and within walking distance of the point itself, which is one of the best in Sri Lanka. Even beginners will enjoy this beach. Even those who do not surf and want to relax will greatly enjoy the special and quiet location. The restaurant is run by a local family and serves varied and delicious food at completely reasonable prices and with meticulous service. You can eat in the restaurant or next to the room. In conclusion, my brother and I stayed at the hotel for 7 nights and I have no doubt that we will return to this magical place again. The staff were amazing! They were really nice and applied to all of our requests. The hotel is in a great location, with yoga classes (for extra charge) and the room was big and comfortable. We had a great stay. The air conditioning is great and new. We would definitely choose it again on our next visit. Highly recommend!

Beautiful area right on the beach, wonderful cabanas, very nice staff! The bed is really comfortable. The location is a bit remote from the main street, but easily reachable by bike. I truly enjoyed my stay, even extended it a bit. Wishing the best!

A hidden gem! My husband and me loved this place. The host is very welcoming and will help with anything. We've been there for a whole month and couldn't ask for more: fully equipped kitchen, sleeping room with air con, an own backyard with lots of palm trees, beautiful sunrises and a big deck upstairs. The house is actually at the beach, so you can watch the ocean anytime. Highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet and peaceful place.

Salty Alchemy feels like home, beautifully decorated and positioned right on the beachfront. Julia and Loku were the most incredible hosts and their dogs were the best companions whilst having afternoon naps in the hammock with the waves crashing!

the cabanas are right on the beach, you can wake up and walk straight into the ocean! the staff became our friends and did so much for us. the rooms are basic but have everything you need for a comfortable stay - including a variety of electrical outlets for many countries. cold water showers are a relief in the sticky, humid conditions in Arugam bay. location is ideal, on the main strip, near restaurants and shops. I came to stay 3 days and stayed 11, I’ll be back at the end of this week for an extra 3 days.

The hotel boasts the prime location in Arugam Bay, complemented by friendly staff and a lovely garden. It offers excellent beach access. The view of the sea from the seaside rooms is breathtaking. Additionally, the hotel's provision of drinkable water for refills is a thoughtful touch.

As fresh as a daisy. The staff and service provided were top noch. Sri lankan hospitality at its finest. With attention and care given to every detail, but not in an intrusive way. All requests were met with a smile. Villa was spacious, comfortable, and clean. Most amazing was the convenience of lovely sunrise at the beach in front of Villa, sunset views and very quiet place. We will sure come back again. Thank you to oceano surf team

Great staff and cute little beach huts! Very quiet location right on the beach. This is the perfect hide away if you want to avoid the party scene in Arugam but stay close to the surf. The owner helped us renting a tuktuk and we drove around with our surf boards on top. The food they are serving is very tasty, fresh and very cheap.

Hotle located right on the beach, very nice holiday cottages, very big rooms, great combination of luxury and beach cottage style with a bathroom under sky. Close to nature, ocean view from every point of the resort. Very nice restaurant and friendly staff.
