The host and his family were super friendly and helpful. They tried to do their best to make our stay more enjoyable. We got a cleaning of the room regularly, advice for bus connections or shops where to repair my shoes. They provide drinking water and a small snack service. You can have a tasty breakfast, lunch or dinner (rice and curry was one of the best in the town). On the New Year, they prepared extra breakfast and dinner for all guests even if all other restaurants were closed. Our room balcony's view was perfect! The position is amazing because it is in walking distance to get to Hirikeyia beach for surfing or to Dickwella for cheaper restaurants and bigger beach.

The rooms were the cleanest I’ve stayed in Sri Lanka! Beautiful and spacious. The WiFi was good. Quiet area which is what I wanted. The host and family were amazing, so kind and considerate. Offered lifts when there weren’t Tuktuks around. There is a communal fridge on the upper level which is handy. Best stay in Sri Lanka! Thank you :)

We enjoyed every bit of our stay in this family-led hotel! It is not far from the beach (5-7 minutes of walking). The room were very clean and there was a common kitchen where we could store some food in the fridge, make our tea or mix some smoothies. Besides this the owner always offered us some freshly mixed smoothies, tea of coffee and also homemade local food. There was also a washing machine available. The little family of this hotel was so kind and we felt so welcomed and supported. Thanks for this nice experience and holidays in Heriketiya!
