RKO Villa is a little away from the bigger towns, but still within walking distance to local shops and restaurants, and it's just a 2 min walk to a beautiful beach. Very convenient for a more authentic experience. The standout of RKO Villa was the manager, Lahiru, who made my stay AMAZING. He was so helpful, so kind and so thoughtful - making whatever I wanted for breakfast at whatever time I wanted, and showing me hard to find local spots and excellent driving when I wanted a change of location. The Villa itself has a nice roof for lounging and a shared space if you don't always want to be in your room.

A great oceanfront house with a clean and large beach, large clean rooms with air conditioning and a bathroom. The owner is always ready to help with any questions and is always in touch with you. A nice bonus is that you can visit the turtle farm for free, which is located right next to the house. I recommend it, it was the best 9 days)

Myself and my family stayed at Bieshu Beach hive for three nights. I have to say it was our favourite place we stayed in Sri Lanka! The location is stunning, leading straight onto the beach. But the staff really made the experience special. The host Aruna was wonderful. We had dinner each night in the main area of the villa which opens up to the pool and the beach. Aruna cooked for us with ingredients he sourced, traditional Sri Lankan dishes. The food was exceptional! All of the staff were so helpful and friendly. We especially loved the eggplant curry and he kindly sent us the recipe. I can’t recommend this place highly enough for a peaceful, relaxing stay on the South Coast of Sri Lanka.

The Manager of the hotel Menaka made sure our last minute check in online was smoothly executed and kept in touch with me on the phone to ensure everything was right for us and could accommodate 3 people. The room is HUGE and the view is fantastic. We got to use the balcony to relax on the deck chairs too. Beautiful, clean beach on both sides. A nice and peaceful location.

Both me and my boyfriend loved everything about our stay here! The beach is a stunning, long strip of white sand and blue waves. Perfect to relax and unwind. Plus you are 5 mins walk from some fruit shops, local bakeries and mini markets. The hotel has a restaurant and bar on the beach which is not only serving really tasty food at a reasonable price, but also providing guests with sunbeds and parasols. You would never leave :) They only have 4 rooms, directly on the beach, huge and with a big comfy bed, fan, AC, fridge and hot water. Really everything you need. The owner is a welcoming and kind man who has been doing this for years and designed the whole place. I recommend to everyone to spend a couple of nights in this paradise 🌞🌴

Very helpful hosts, they gave rice and curry every day, the villa is nice and clear. Aquarium with light makes cozy atmosphere. Koggala beach is like a wild beach and beautiful. I recommend to go to the lake with boat safari - you will see crocodile, a lot of monkeys , varans and birds

Location peaceful quiet. Happy environment. Being close to the ocean and having the beach to ourselves. Sweet dogs for us to care. Kitchen fridge and washing machine facilities. Good air-conditioning. The owners family. We will be back.
