The room is a great size. Very modern and looks new and was very clean with lovely toiletries provided. Spacious bathroom with Great hot shower. Right across from a beautiful beach where you can walk for miles. There are a few beach bars/restaurants and the accommodation is walking distance to local restaurants on the road so very well located Lahiru the manager was such an excellent host who provided great service and was incredibly helpful. He took us locally in his tuk tuk and you could hire him to drive you further away.

It was more than perfect. Room and Bathroom, was big, beautiful, clean, just amazing. I am super sad, that I was only one night there. The Host is amazing, he can help! Was so nice with them. The View from the balkon to the sea is sooo nice. The beach is so big, beautiful, perfect to swim, and not very touristic!

Its a must visit stay. It got an excellent view of beach that pictures cannot justify the view. One must enjoy with their own eyes Has a private beach space to enjoy🌊 Best for the group of 6 to 8 people as they give you the entire apartment where we can cook and eat by ourself. The Villa is absolutly great! The manager aruna and staff were so unbelievable friendly and help us with everything immediatly (e.g. organizing a scooter, a amazing massage in our room). We had the family suite. It was really big and the view was just stunning. The beach was so quiet, not many people and the sunset was amazing. It‘s perfectly located between Galle and Mirissa and you can easily explore the area from there. Much more relaxing than staying in the crowded cities. They make you coffee and tea all day, get you coconuts and make fresh diffrent breakfast every day. i cant even count alle the positive things! Big recommendation!

We stayed in 11 hotels/villas during our stay in Sri Lanka and this was our favourite! Stunning location, right on a wide stretch of sandy beach. A few other restaurants close by or about 15mins by tuk tuk to Unawatuna. Also 5 mins from the train station, took the train to Galle. Amazing pool, kept very clean and the water is clear which is strangely unusual for Sri Lanka so well done to them. Also quite warm. The pool is private to those staying at the villa. There’s only 4 rooms in the villa which is located next to the restaurant where breakfast is served and they do great food all day. Very good breakfast, the usual affair of fruit platter, yoghurt, eggs (we enjoyed Sri Lankan omelette), toast and tea/coffee. Rooms are large, we also had our 4yr old on a separate bed and a baby in a cot, all fitted in the room easily. Shower and toilet are in separate rooms which is good.

We had a wonderful time at Mallis Guesthouse with a warm welcome from this lovely family. The appartement is spacious, very clean and fully equipped with a high standard. Mallis wife Nilu is not only a lovely and perfect host and extraordinary chef, she is an inspiration on how we should treat each other as humans. We thank her so much for everything she did for us and everything we learnt from her about Sri Lanka's culture and Buddhism. Special thanks also to Peter in Germany, who supports the family with the bookings. We highly recommend to spend more time there if you want to experience the real Sri Lanka.

Location peaceful quiet. Happy environment. Being close to the ocean and having the beach to ourselves. Sweet dogs for us to care. Kitchen fridge and washing machine facilities. Good air-conditioning. The owners family. We will be back.
