We had a fantastic stay. We arrived and were warmly welcomed. Our room was ready and it looked great. We had a room with sea view. We were immediately offered a beer on arrival and in the evening the host prepared fresh fish, shrimps, chips and rice for us. One of the best dishes we've had in Sri Lanka. The accommodation is located directly at sea, so you have a lot of peace here. The host is very helpful and will make your stay comfortable.

The place was clean, just in front of the city center, weekend market was just opposite , we were able check in late and did not have any issues, can enjoy the early morning sunrise with beach view.

The location was picturesque, staff was super friendly and attentive, the food was delicious, and the stay was really comfortable with all the comforts that you'd expect in any good hotel. Good environment At night you can various animals sound because this is thick ungle area. Early morning you can vast typeof birds and their songs specially peacock. Breakfast was very nice. Staff was friendly, and we got a full Sri Lankan meal. They also accommodated our requests and were very attentive.

Ravanna Garden is a boutique hotel like no other. The staff, food, rooms, garden, pool, beach are all exceptional. It is a little oasis in an otherwise busy world! On Arrival there is building works going on which a little off putting, but no one is disturbed by it and once walked beyond it you arrive into the oasis! The rooms are large, super clean and comfortable with every facility needed . NOTE - on arrival you are asked to let them know if ,and when, you would like your room cleaned. Remember this is an eco hotel, therefore how often do you really need your towels and linen changing ?! The food is exceptional, organic, local, and you can even buy their own local spices. The service throughout is excellent and they cannot do enough to ensure your stay with them is nothing short of everything you would like. A walk along the beach is must to the harbour wall where there is a safe swimming spot, and many of the locals converge there. Be brave and stay longer than 1 or 2 nights, it is very much well worth it - there are added surprises along the way and the team do everything they can. Bikes are available to go the local temple and a visit with a hotel guide to show the effects of the Tsunami is a must, plus the wildlife and roadside stores make for a very interesting visit.

We stayed in Lankavatara 9 days and we had a wonderful and restoring experience. We choose the location because is very quite and immerse in the nature and after 10 days going around the island we needed a break before leaving. What make our stay unforgettable has been also the staff, all are very helpful and professional, from the staff at the reception, the staff at the restaurant, the staff who clean, and the staff at the spa.
