Wonderful place, done with attention to every detail. There are only 3 rooms so it's not a crowded hotel. Rooms really have a great sea view, breakfast is amazing (although it's not Sri Lankan). Highly recommend !

The cubicle style dorm for me was a first, and I loved it. Some people might dislike it, because the chances of striking up a conversation with a stranger is limited. But the little private space is amazing. Beds are comfy. Everything is clean. Coworking space is really good. The included breakfast is INCREDIBLE. The optional yoga sessions on site are a good bonus.

Everything about the property was perfect from the beach view, location which is meters from the beach, the studio itself was of top quality. The hosts were incredible - super helpful and sent us a message each morning how everything was going. We had access to the beach club which was also lovely with breakfast there each morning which was super tasty and high quality. We will definitely go back!

The staff and the location are absolutely amazing. Sahan and Avisa are the most helpful and caring hosts you can wish for. We had quite some requests (as we were traveling with our 11 months old baby) and they really went the extra mile, to make us feel at home. Rooms are basic but have everything one needs. The garden and the beach house are breathtaking and super relaxing. Position is 10 mins walk from Hiriketyia bay and it was simply perfect! Away from the noise but at walking distance from the surf. The fact that there was a kitchen available was ideal for us, as we needed to prepare some meals for the baby.

A friendly, relaxed and affordable family home stay, with two cool surfer kids. From the spacious grassy garden, watch them riding high on the lip, dropping deep, cutting back and ending with frequent 360's. 🤟🏻 Rooms are no nonsense but provide all necessary comfort. Rooms facing the jungle are quieter than the ones facing the bay, since the sea roars loudly and the occasional Zingbar's parties are even louder. At easy walking distance - via mostly unpaved roads - from Hiriketiya village. The various beach bars dotted along the beach (Mage Bar!) and Dot's, are a 10 minutes beach stroll away. Your feet might get wet at high tide and it can be very dark, but the starry sky and the fireflies will light up the short walk. Zing Bar next door is a newcomer in Hiri that is still looking for its identity. If their powerful sound system still blurts out the ubiquitous generic 'progressive' at inappropriate moments, just talk to the staff (or better, manager Shevone). Enjoy!

Incredible place and extremely good value. As everyone mentions the location is amazing but the rooms are very good too, spacious, clean and with a good fridge. They have an electric shower so there’s always hot water but also another separate shower with more pressure so both options there. I was a bit nervous booking a room with no a/c but the ceiling fan was more than enough. I stayed in one room type but checked the other too and all were good. We stayed in another ‘fancier’ hotel later on as they had no availability for extra nights but Seaport was better overall. Finally the hosts Lasith & Imalka were incredibly kind, friendly and helpful
