This place is run by a family. They were really kind and helpful with everything. We came late for checkout but still they let us use the room and the bathroom. Really kind people. We liked everything. Very close to the sea. Walking distance from coconut hill. One of our best stays.

It was beautiful. The rooms are tidy and comfortable. The multiple trees made the temperature cooler. It was really relaxing to just hang out outside the house. Ruwan was the best host one could have. He was so helpful and friendly and enthusiastic. He arranged pick up from the airport for us, took us around in his tuk-tuk , took us snokerling and surfing. He was also really fun to chill with. The food here was heavenly, it’s a slice of traditional cuisine . Ruwan went out of his way to serve us tea and coconut water when we requested. If you want to experience the authentic Mirissa you must definitely visit.

Wonderful hotel, beautiful view on the ocean, 10meter walk to the beach. Delicious breakfast, quite a big room and very spacious balcony. Swimming pool is ideal. Owners make you feel at home. All in all 10/10.

The room is nice and clean and there’s an accessible rooftop with a view of the ocean. But what really took us away was the couple running the place who were so sweet, helpful and accommodating. They both served an amazing, huge breakfast and surprised us with a variety of snacks and drinks during our stay. We had a lovely time here.

We absolutely loved our stay at Ubuntu Beach villas! 💜 Lakmal and the staff looked after us so well and we felt very spoiled. The villas are absolutely stunning and very special, completely beach front! We very much enjoyed that we could use the facilities and amazing restaurant at the Latern villa also.
