My Review of Ranna Beach House, Sri Lanka We were lucky enough to spend a few days at Ranna Beach House, and it truly felt like a slice of paradise. 🏡 Location & Accommodation The house is located directly on a secluded, palm-lined beach – quiet, peaceful, and simply stunning. The sound of the ocean, the sunsets, and the feeling of privacy made it a perfect retreat. The villa itself is tastefully decorated, very clean, and well-equipped. We especially loved the spacious terrace and the private pool overlooking the sea. 👨‍🍳 Staff & Service One of the true highlights was the warm and attentive house staff. The chef prepared delicious, fresh meals every day – tailored to our preferences ( child-friendly, mild spice). What truly stood out was how patiently and kindly they responded to all our wishes – nothing was ever too much. Whether it was adjusting meals, helping with laundry, or arranging excursions, they handled everything with care and calmness. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Perfect for Families We traveled with three children and felt completely at home. The pool was clean and safe, there was plenty of space to play and relax, and the beach was perfect for exploring and watching the fishermen. The kids especially loved the animals nearby and the quiet natural setting. 🌴 Surroundings & Activities From the house, we took some wonderful excursions – to a lagoon, a turtle beach, and even a safari. The driver recommended by the house was reliable, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the area. 💬 Our Conclusion Ranna Beach House is a perfect place to slow down, reconnect with nature, and enjoy true hospitality. If you’re looking for peace, beauty, and personalized care, this is the place. We would mabsolutely return – a strong recommendation!

remote location at superclean beach, quiet, very less other people, great food and in particular the fresh lobster was great. no doubt - the place to be at the southwest coast

Our three days at fishermen’s lodge were super special, we felt so welcome and included in their family. The food in the restaurant was really amazing, the host is a great cook, we loved especially her rice and curry and the grilled fish. The traditional breakfast was also really good! The room was really simple, but still very clean and the host was always ready to help us in any way. You just walk a few steps to the beautiful beach which is nearly empty! In the morning the host took us fishing one time, which was the most special and fun experience! Overall we really recommend coming here for an authentic and local experience with extraordinary people! Thank you for everything! We might come back one time :)

Room and bath are new, super clean and spacious. Minibar very appreciated. Great terrace for breakfast and chilling enjoying beautiful garden. Breakfast so good and generous. Owner very helpful and kind to arrange everything as necessary. Really recommended Shine Wave Turtle Beach, comfy and nice stay.

Golden Beach Paradise is a great place to stay, we enjoyed the tropical vibe and our sea view from our balcony. Also they have a nice clean swimming pool. People working there where friendly and helpful. Definitely come back when I’m in Sri Lanka again.

Carefully managed piece of heaven on the edge between ocean and jungle with european comfort and fantastic cuisine! Fantastic beach where you can swim. You can see peacocks, monkeys, varans, mongoose, buffalo, fireflies around the resort. Spacious and extra clean rooms. Well maintained pool. Owners are great people and experienced travelers, they know how to make your stay calm and comfortable. Strongly recommended! All our big family hope to come back there next year!

We had beautiful stay at this amazing place. Personal was always here and helpful, arranged for us tuktuk and bird watching tour. The room was amazing, clean, spacious, comfortable, we were upgraded for free. Ever day nice breakfast- different options available. Long Beach with palms and minimum people. If you get behind the waves, you can swim there. But best for long walks. Few beach restaurants nearby with fresh fish. Calm and peaceful, ideal if you want to get away from the crowds and just spend time with the sea and yourself.

The room was big and clean, the view was incredible, the surrounding was calm and full only of birds singing. The food was delicious and the guy there was extremely versatile and ready to help us by arranging the meals and the turtles watching as we wanted.

It was a great stay! If you want to relax and be close to nature (especially turtles), this is the perfect property since it is right next to the beach! The host is very friendly, and he was helpful to us! He helped us with renting a scooter and he showed us the beautiful Rekawa beach. Also, he managed tickets for the night tour where we saw a mother turtle nest. He even drove us to the bus stop. It was amazing and I highly recommend AMOUR AT TURTLE BEACH! And by the way, the breakfasts were amazing and delicious :)
