EVERYTHING - Manu and his wife Shishi and the house dogs were the best! we felt at home, Manu went fishing and cooked us fresh crabs, shrimps, fish more than we can eat at a very fair price. he also went fishing in the next morning again and cooked us fresh lobsters in the morning free of charge because he didnt have lobsters the night before. he is just too kind and giving. we played card games all night as a family:) rooms are clean and beds are comfy. also hot shower! dont leave this place without eating the seafood!

We had a beautiful week at this serene accommodation with the kindest and most helpful staff! They were renewing the roof of our bungalow so we were offered an upgrade free of charge. The food was absolutely delicious and the Halcyon Spritz was the perfect summer drink for us European travelers. The cappuccino with Sri Lankan coffee beans was also delicious. We boogie boarded in the ocean and relaxed by and in the pool. We even stopped by for lunch after we’d checked out and travelled for a week and were greeted like old friends by staff and owner alike. It really felt like coming home. 10/10 recommendation!

Excellent choice of accommodation, we are so happy we booked Serenity Cabanas. The owners are a lovely couple from Sri Lanka and New Zealand, Elle and Kapila - they are always around making sure guests are ok and feel at home, in fact we felt at home. Breakfast is so delicious, staff are wonderful, we appreciate everybody’s effort, big thanks to Ravi, he is always there with a big smile, we love your sense of humour - Thank you Tharidu, for your great service. Also massive hug to the beautiful lady at the reception. Rooms are spacious, you’ll have everything you need. View outside your cabana is gorgeous, the sound of the waves at night is so soothing, you sleep like a baby on those comfortable beds. The place is clean, the level of hygiene is superb, there is a laundry service, and the owners provide tips on things to do in Tangalle. We couldn’t find a better place, thank you so much for your hospitality

If we could give an eleven, we would. Great staff, 👍. excellent pool and villas. Clean, complete and beautiful view. Restaurant serves a great meal for a really good price (best curry I had so so far) and also the included breakfast was more than enough and perfect. Really good coffee as well (breakfast & room). The manager Suresh and his personnel will help you with anything you need. And the dogs (proxy, cola and rocky) and cat. (Pepsi) are really nice and protective of all the guests. Lots of peacocks on the property as well !

This hotel is right on to the beach and run by family and everything is cooked fresh on order. Family goes out of the way to ensure your comfort, safety and enjoyment. Overall, it was a great value for the money and best experience I ever had on a beach resort.

Hidden Garden is the real paradise! Everything was just perfect! The room is nice, super clean and really big, the pool is amazing and the breakfast? Super delicious and made with love :) The garden is well maintained and very nice. I did also kayaking on the lagoon, I had a great massage and tuk tuk tour to the rock temple... The whole family is sooo helpful, friendly and nice. I hope I will be back soon :)
