Beach Hotels in Weligama

Surfing schools available right outside the hotel on the beach, very easy to book lessons. Breathtaking ocean views from the room of Weligama Bay. Breakfast has wide selection of Sri Lankan and international options.

The family room was a perfect size for us. The hotel is located right on the beach, and you can swim In the ocean or go next door and order a couple of beers from the bar and use their pool. Central Weligama & Marissa are only a short tuk tuk ride away.

Loved our stay at Santi Beach House Weligama. The villa was right on the beach and we woke up each morning to the sound of the waves. After a terrible night before at the previous villa, it was a treat to finally have a massive comfy bed to sleep in. Santi was hidden gem in Weligama as it was the only place we found with character and charming Sri Lankan design.

The host Edwin was really kind, supportive and helped in every way possible. The rest of the team as well! There is a really nice rooftop with sofas and oceanview, you can even see the surfspot. Sunset with music and a bonfire just up front at the beach.

Perfect location to get in to weligama, right on the beach with a little family owned hut to get a snack as the sun sets.

The location is good- we found a good surf teacher 2 mins away (Sudda’s surf school) and a lovely yoga Shala looking out to the ocean (Amnia wellness). It was nice to have the pool and garden to relax in. The local staff were lovely and the breakfast was good. The resident puppies were a bonus too. Room was spacious and comfortable. Definitely not the cheapest in the area but rare to have somewhere on the beach with a pool that wasn’t a big hotel complex (most of these that we saw looked like they had much less character and were more hectic).

Very nice place to stay, right on the beach. Great cuisine and service, much better starred hotels use to have worse. Surfing school and equipment on place. All we needed.

- Beautifully landscaped garden facing the beach - Beach virtually private beach with loungers - Clean room - nice personel - the accommodation is a bit quieter, in Weligama itself there is a lot going on on the beach and there are higher waves, so there are a lot of surfers in the water, here in the beach resort it is much quieter, therefore much more suitable for families with small children than directly on the beach

Perfect location on the beach in Weligama… I surfed everyday directly in front of resort. Room very clean and food was great. I arrived early and check in no problem..
