Beach Hotels in Hell-Ville

super nice staff, great location, spacious and clean rooms, good food for lunch and dinner in the restaurant

The property was beautifully decorated with stunning pieces of art work and trinkets. It was spacious and cool and perfectly peaceful. The room was perfect. The bed was comfortable, the space was clean and the bathroom was incredible.

Jean-Michel, Florida and the whole team are very helpful and kind. For example, we asked Jean-Michel in an email that we would like to stop at a "supermarket" to buy few things during our transfer from the airport to Doany Beach. He said okay. And soon he sent an email that he had noticed we would arrive on Sunday afternoon when shops are closed and offered that he buys what we need if we send a list, Wow. Doany Beach is beautiful with its white sand beach (no trash only shells) , crystal clear ocean in front of you, no dangerous currents, beautiful corals and fish for snorkelling (it is easier to find them in low tide). And there are no other tourists, maybe another family as guests. We could see sunrise even from our bed, we only had to open our front door facing to the ocean at 6 am. Brown (female) and black (male) lemurs are coming each evening or sometimes in the afternoon. We got bananas from the staff to make lemurs eat from our hands and let us stroke them (except their tails). As there are no shops or markets, you eat what you get. But do not worry, meals are perfectly delicious and sufficient and as a bonus, you eat in the garden with ocean view. Weather (sunny, 29-30 C, no rain during the day) and the ocean temperature were great. Doany Beach has filtered drinking water. We had no problems with WiFi. There is hot water in the bathroom. You may ask for how many night you should book. It can easily be one week. Lokobe Reserve is in walking distance, Jean-Michel came with us to show the way. It is worth checking Doany Beach's own website, where you see many boat tours offered (e.g. Lemurialand+Mont Passot+Andilana beach, Tanikely, Sakatia, Komba, Iranja, etc.). There are also many other program possibilities, like fishing, water skiing, face painting. You also see the prices on the website. Boat trip price is usually for the boat and not per person. we had a very large room right on the beach with a terrace with table and chairs and deck chairs! it was furnished and decorated with lovely African touches! the bed was comfortable, plenty of hot water and a fan! the whole property was kept spotless by the wonderful friendly staff! Patrique and his lovely wife and team were so welcoming and we felt right at home having breakfast on the balcony overlooking the sea. Patrique was so helpful with local information and any questions you may have. There is a kitchen to use which is well equipped and very clean too! There are a few eating options in the area and you are right in the little village too (but it is very quiet!) We did not want to leave but sometimes you just have to move on! A great budget option! Everything, staff, location...

Le Moya Beach is a family-run hotel, welcoming and with all the necessary facilities to enjoy a few days of relaxation in Nosy Be. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the restaurant is very good value for money and the pool is fantastic. But without a doubt the best thing about the hotel is the staff, led by the couple of owners who make you feel at home from the first minute. We arrived with our baby and asked for a baby seat for the restaurant. They didn't have one available but the next day... the owner had bought a new baby seat!! Without a doubt a place to recommend and return to.

Staff were absolutely lovely, really nice food and big swimming pool. I would definitely come back.

The beach bunglalow was superb. Right on the beach with a wonderful porch seating area. Just lovely. The staff was outstanding and the GM was extremely helpful when we had a flight cancellation. Top service and courtesy.

The bungalow are beautiful, the view is magical over the sea. You can just walk down to the beach and swim there or you can also enjoy the two pools availables. We really enjoyed our time here. There is also a restaurant with great food and great options for breakfast. The staff was very nice and took great care of us I highly recommend this place and it is quite cheap if you are sharing a bungalow :)
