Xul-Ha was a dream place, so much better than we could imagine! The fact that the cabanes are small (not in an uncomfortable way) positively makes you stay out more and enjoy the beauty of the lagoon that is right at your feet. Everything needed for relaxation was at hand: comfortable sofas, tan-beds and hammocks. We woke up every morning to assist to a stunning sunrise and then embarked on paddle explorations on an empty lagoon. It truly felt like a private paradise. The breakfasts were a delight start to each day. If you're seeking tranquility and immersion in Mexican beauty, look no further! We extended our stay, completely mesmerised by the charm of the place. A special thanks to Rene who welcome us with warmth (hello from the frenchies if you see the message Rene!). He's always happy to chat and assist with anything you might need. Pepos is hands down my top recommendation in the entire Yucatan!!

We had an amazing two night stay! The beach in front of the property is gorgeous. There are hammocks in the water, swings, kayaks, paddle boards, and chairs in front of the water. The rooms are amazing and so comfortable with Netflix, air con, mini fridge, shower with hot water, etc. One of the best parts is being able to use the scooters to go all over town which is included. The property is out of the town but by having the scooters, it makes it easy to go into town. The property is super clean and the workers are very nice. Breakfast is brought to your room each morning and includes a sandwich, fruit, and pastry. It's basic but good. You get one coffee pod to make in your room per day which is good. If you want you can purchase more. Each day they also restock your mini fridge with two beers, two waters and two sodas. They also clean your room daily and the property is kept very clean. This was definitely a splurge for us but if you use all of the amenities it can be worth it.

breakfast was good on both the days. there's always scrambled eggs, cheese slices, sliced luncheon meat (deli), oj, coffee, fruit bowl, bread, jam, butter, amazing corn bread, muesli, yogurt and a toaster to toast ur bread. the views are special here and the waters are perfect throughout the day and early night too. not deep at all so safe for everyone. Just stunning - an absolute gem just on the outskirts of Bacalar town. Gorgeous place, attentive staff, a haven for relaxation. Be sure to be driving / take a taxi if you want to go to town, however not problematic at all. Room service has no surcharge, which really encourages you to use it - and the dishes are delicious. Picturesque.

This is by far one of my favorite places i've stayed in. The staff was friendly and while checking in, we were able to book the sail boat tour (which is what my friend and I wanted to do). Parking was available on both sides of the street and had no trouble looking for parking. I would recommend staying here!
