I highly recommend it! We went with children, it has a pool, excellent service... It is a little far from downtown, but it is very enjoyable because we went to rest the pool is beautiful and very spacious.

This place is one of the nicest on whole Holbox!!! It is the nicest part of the beach and could not be better!! We will come definitely again!! Gabriela was really excellent!! Not to forget the wonderful pool!!! In a few minutes walking you are ‘center’! It is a wonderful place!!!

The hotel is beautiful, very well maintained. Located next to the nicest part of the holbox beach. Rooms are really comfortable, every evening there is a sweet snack in the fridge. Restaurant and beach club and pool are very beautiful. Service is really great, helpful and they remember your preferences and allergies. They are really nice and making your stay very welcoming !

Casa Takywara is located just outside the town, where the beach is wider, and less crowded. Within ten minutes of walking on the beach you’re in te middle of town. The place is just great the staff is great, the rooms are nice, and even the dreaded mosquito’s all the reviews were talking about seem to be absent. At night the bio-luminescent algae were in the sea right in front of the house. We had a truly wonderful time at Casa Takywara, and on Holbox, wouldn’t hesitate a second to go back.

The decoration was amazing! Like coming out of an interior design magazine. The location was very central and quiet at the same time. Meters away from the dock. The lock art the door made it very easy to manage for a group. So we could separate and not worry about having one key. The communication with the hosts was great.

    The staff were really friendly, breakfast was great, and the location was ideal (right on the beach). We were also offered a free upgrade on arrival and then paid for a further upgrade, so had a lovely room on the beachfront, which was really spacious

    This hotel is in a great location in the heart of Isla Holbox. It is situated right on the beach with a perfect view of sunset and you can walk miles and miles along the beach. It’s also perfectly close to all the main restaurants and bars on the island. The customer service in the hotel was excellent; we loved our welcome drink and the staff were amazing when we had an issue with wildlife in our room one evening. We really enjoyed our stay on this beautiful island.

    We arrived three days after a massive storm. Despite this the hotel had cleaned up the mess admirably well. The hotel’s position is lovely - directly on the beach, only a 15 min walk into Holbox town. Beach view rooms are clean, very nicely appointed and furnished. Beautiful sunsets from the beach loungers every night. Bar and restaurant offer very good quality food during the day and the staff a really helpful and friendly. Would recommend this hotel.

    It was gorgeous! The bed was huge and super comfy, room service breakfast every morning for luxury and being right on the beach watching beautiful sunsets. We would have stayed longer if it wasn't already booked up!

    The rooms, equipped with air conditioning, were tastefully decorated and provided a serene ambiance. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after exciting days exploring the island. The private beach was the crown jewel of the property. Pristine sands and crystal-clear waters awaited, creating the perfect spot for relaxation and rejuvenation. Sunsets on the beach were absolutely magical, and I found myself lost in the beauty of the surroundings.

    This hotel has a superb location, right on the beach with a great view of sunset and also a 5 minute walk into "town" where all the main restaurants and bars can be found. The staff in the beach club were amazing, especially Javi. The free breakfast was a buffet and was nice. The pool is a great addition, as sometimes the sea tide was out and it wasn't as easy to swim to cool off.

    We had a fabulous stay here, our ocean view room was spectacular, the staff attentive and the breakfast possibly the best we had in Yucatan. Perfect location right on the beach and a short 15 minute walk into town. we loved the bikes for hire too!
