United Arab EmiratesAbsolutely perfect stay. The hotel is beautiful - clearly the best on the island by some distance. The room is unique and incredibly designed. The staff are attentive and lovely and the food and drink was delicious. The location on the beach was amazing. This hotel is faultless.
Special shout out to Martin who selflessly helped us out when we were experiencing an issue (not related to the hotel). He is a very impressive individual and I can't thank him enough. This is one of the best run / well managed hotels I have ever stayed at. Truly awesome.

NetherlandsCasa Takywara is located just outside the town, where the beach is wider, and less crowded. Within ten minutes of walking on the beach you’re in te middle of town. The place is just great the staff is great, the rooms are nice, and even the dreaded mosquito’s all the reviews were talking about seem to be absent. At night the bio-luminescent algae were in the sea right in front of the house. We had a truly wonderful time at Casa Takywara, and on Holbox, wouldn’t hesitate a second to go back.

It is situated right on the beach with a perfect view of sunset and you can walk miles and miles along the beach. It’s also perfectly close to all the main restaurants and bars on the island. Despite this the hotel had cleaned up the mess admirably well. The hotel’s position is lovely - directly on the beach, only a 15 min walk into Holbox town.
